I have been training for 15+ years and I can attest to Matts prowess as a trainer. He is a fast learner and has the most diverse bag of skills and knowledge i have seen in any trainer. What he does not understand or know he dives deep into that topic and learns everything about it in order to bring the best value to all of his clients. I send him as much business as possible. Expect to focus on the mastery of your body and mind with him. More...

I decided to work with Matt because I was impressed with his physical capabilities with acrobatics and flexibility. He has helped me with flexibility and moving my body with greater control over the past 6 months or so. I have also reduced - if not eliminated - previous knee pain. He brings a planned, different workout to the table each week which I greatly appreciate! Give him a try - you won’t regret it! More...

I started training with Matt about 9 month ago and have been thrilled with my results! Matt brings originality and positivity to each session, always encouraging me in every step of my fitness journey. What makes Matt different from other trainers is that he takes great pride in being his best, continuously furthering his knowledge and training, never settling, nor should you! If you are looking for a trainer that will take time to listen to your goals and design an engaging plan to get your desired results, look no further. More...

I initially chose to hire Matt as a trainer because of his philosophy on training and technique (no gyms or equipment required to get fit). I also chose Matt because I did not want a trainer who was a gym rat or a hard-core boot camp instructor. After a few times training with Matt, it quickly became apparent that he is much, much more than a trainer. Matt is an elite athlete who is incredibly knowledgeable about proper form, anatomy, physiology, nutrition, mental/emotional wellness and living a healthy life. I highly recommend Matt if you want to get fit, understand how your body moves, understand your personal strengths and learn how to effect positive change within yourself. Matt takes all the stress out of getting fit-he comes to you and is willing to work with one's schedule. He literally tailors his training to his client's needs with fun and creative training sessions. You will never get bored working with Matt!! If you are fortunate enough to get to work with Matt, you will gain more in positive results than you can imagine. More...

I chose Matt originally because I liked his social media promotional materials which gave me a good idea of his credentials, approach and expertise. I have and am progressing in all my goals with Matt in my core strength, flexibility, muscle tone, and engaging more of my muscles with every day tasks more effectively and with more ease than before.I would highly recommend Matt as a personal trainer. I like his professionalism and commitment to continuing education so that he stays on top of the latest developments in his field. His easy-going manner and “calm and centered” demeanor and professionalism make working with him very enjoyable on many levels. Thanks for being a super personal trainer! Dr. Richard Jimenez More...

I spent a session with Matt and that's all I needed to know this trainer is legit. He cares about your goals, takes into consideration your body, and projects you forward with specific coaching. He's knowledgeable and his body mechanics exemplify his years of training he's endured to understand fitness.

Simply, if you want to get better at health or fitness this is the guy to talk to. And he's just flat nice.

I met Matt when I first joined the acro community and he was the first person to successfully base me. He made working out fun and exciting because he believed in me. Never did I think I’d ever do any of the tricks he was calmly talking me through. That’s how he is as a trainer. He’s very thorough and professional. He assessed my current body, workout routine, eating habits, and favorite types of activities. Each session was unique and he modifies different workouts as he sees your body develops and constantly checks your posture and foot position. Then he does the impossible: he found fun things to do so you don’t realize you’re working out. He also offers homework, food planning, and so many other types of training on his site. Seriously talk to this guy, he can also refer you to his strong network of other amazing health professionals. More...

When I first sought out a trainer, I was in a lot of pain from a car accident, and afraid that I would never be able to get back in shape. I was depressed, and scared to even bend over.

After only 2 months or working with Matt, I am able to move more now than I have been able to in over 2 years! He is thoroughly knowledgeable, easy to work with, and understands the body.

If you are looking for someone who is compassionate and want a trainer who will work with your injuries and put you on a progressive path to success, Matt is your guy!

Off the Bench fitness is the best way to change one's mindset toward exercise!! With genuine interest in my intrinsic motivations for achieving healthy change, Matt went above and beyond other trainers I've worked with to transform my often punitive approach to working out and helped me create a healthy, sustainable attitude. Matt carried me through a tough transition when working out and juggling other facets of life just felt like too much. I can honestly say that Matt's approach, which goes beyond purely physical milestones, is a game-changer for the fitness industry. Not to mention the invaluable information he has related to healthy posture and movement. I loved working with him and recommend him to anyone who actually wants to enjoy their fit life! More...

Matt has gone above and beyond what I wanted to get out of training, and I’m very appreciative of the time he spends preparing and reviewing my goals. Q&As

A marathon not a sprint. Educational and support environment. Some stretching and myofascial release included. Highly personalized; it's nothing like a group exercise class where you don't learn. You won't be incredibly sore don't worry; the intensity will be just right, likr Goldilocks' porridge.

Sustainability! Improper exercise can do harm to joints and tissues; proper choices must be made if I want my clients to be working out past their 80's. I help clients explore what unique approach they have toward movement and help them find something they can sustain once we separate.

People kept telling me to do this! Should have started a long time ago.

I am sensitive to the fact that it takes more than just technical knowledge to build a lifestyle of vitalty and energy. It's an emotional and psychological battle as well.

I honestly like working with newbies/beginners more than accomplished athletes. Women 30-55 typically jive well with me.

I encourage internal motivation versus being an external push for you.

Learn to be self-sufficient anywhere anytime without a gym membership using minimal equipment.

Everyone is alwayspleasantly surprised after their first session with me because it's never what they expect. The right intensity on the right muscles leave you feeling more relaxed, powerful, and energetic afterward everytime!

Since I can only be with you 2-3 hours per week, that leaves the other 166 hours on your own. It is my job to make it as easy as possible for you to form lasting, sustainable habits for the rest of your life. The attitude that I foster with my clients is one of self-acceptance and non-struggle. I ask them to relax their face/neck during exercises as well as speak to themselves in the mirror. You must be ready to change your relationship with exercise toward it being a gift to yourself, instead of being a guilt-driven activity.
