Nicki with Off Leash K9 Training was wonderful to work with to train our 5.5 month old soft coated Wheaton terrier. Piper needed lots of training with listening to me and my husband and obeying basic commands (come, off, etc. ). The training that she received was awesome! She came home a well behaved dog and has learned so many new commands. The E-collar is a great training tool and piper has responded to using it very well. It’s amazing that she can walk off leash with the collar and obey all the commands that she learned while training with Nicki. We still have lots of training to continue at home with Piper so she can generalize and perfect her new skills. I highly recommend Off Leash K9 Training for training your dog or puppy. I can not say enough wonderful things about Off Leash K9! They took my nervous, timid goldendoodle puppy and turned him into a confident, wonderful listener! Amber was so kind and went above and beyond to make sure Teddy learned in ever session, but also worked on making him feel comfortable and confident. He does great on and off leash, in the house, at the dog park, and out in public. We are so thrilled with our 1-year-old Goldendoodle, Bentley’s results after working with Nikki at OLK9!! He’s always been the sweetest thing ever, but was rather stubborn and increasingly developing a selective hearing to our commands. However, after spending a 2 week board & train with Nikki, we got a changed dog!! He still has his silly and sweet personality, but is far more docile and readily obeys our instruction now. We can take him just about anywhere with us now and don’t have to worry about him “walking us” when pulling on his leash. He can now walk OFF LEASH, and in PUBLIC! We are amazed and thrilled! I took my puppy, Kirby to K9 Off Leash Training for Puppy School. We worked with two trainers- Sarah and Nikki. They were an exceptional introduction to training. While there, I saw a puppy, not much older than my puppy who was in the Board and Train program- a two week program where dogs stay with the trainer to learn. I was blown away by how exceptionally well-behaved the puppy was. I had to go out of town for two weeks and thought it would be a perfect opportunity to do board and train. Sadly, there was no availability, so I sent my dog to another highly recommended trainer in town. HE. LEARNED. NOTHING. I knew what K9 Off Leash was capable of, so I signed up for Basic Obedience. We worked ex lisovely with Nikki- who was absolutely THE BEST!!!! She ensured I was comfortable with the e-collar and how it worked. She provided me with her personal cell Number should I have any questions. In four short weeks, my 6 month old puppy has MASTERED-sit, come, down, heel, place, and off. All of the commands necessary for us to live happily ever after together forever!!!!!! Did I mention MASTERED This training program is worth every Penney and every minute you invest. Well, it's been three months now that our Jo graduated from basic and advanced training. She's doing great, everyone is impressed at how well she behaves. Li Green (Cookeville trainer) did an AMAZING job with my dog Juliet. Prior to training, Jules had horrible manners, including pulling on the leash at all times, excitement/aggression towards other dogs, barking and anxiety. I have had Juliet home for 3 days and she’s a changed dog! She heels perfectly nearly 100% of the time even in our apartment and walking around downtown Nashville with so many distractions. While her aggression/excitement towards other dogs is not perfect, she behaves SO MUCH better. She is now manageable and I have been trained to work with her, so I know she will only continue to improve. Previous, she would bark and lunge at every dog. Now, she only barks/lunges when the other dog is also excited. Li taught me that as a sheepdog/poodle mix, Juliet is a working dog. Now that I give her jobs (heeling, laying down, etc.), I’ve noticed a drastic decrease in her anxiety. As a result of her good heeling, I now can take her on runs and walks, so she also gets more exercise and is a MUCH happier dog!!I can’t say what a blessing this has been. Like most dog owners, I had some reservations before dropping her off for 2 weeks. But let me assure you: Li does a great job sending regular updates and pics/videos, the e-collar used is only a signal (not an extreme shock) and has been so useful (not harmful) as a communication tool to get Juliet’s attention when she’s not focused, Juliet was so HAPPY at training because she was learning and loved so well!I can now walk juliet all over Nashville and even get COMPLIMENTS from STRANGERS during our walks! I sent my goofy and lovable (but insane) bluetick Remy to Sarah at Off Leash back in May for the two week program. It is worth every penny. Multiple people have said he’s like a like a changed dog. He’s still got all of his playful happiness, but he listens and obeys. It’s not just convenient, it gives me a great peace of mind knowing Remy will safely come when I call. My girl left hardheaded and came home still hardheaded but with manners. Oola has been a pleasure since returning no pup is ever going to be perfect and there is a transition and patience phase but follow the rules and you will have the best off leash pup ever! Nikki is the best!! Cash was a wild child pulling and not listening to us. It was amazing to watch his progression each week of training. I cannot say enough good things about our trainer Nikki. She truly trained our german shepherd in a way that we feel like a family now in our home and in public. It is amazing how our dog can be around other animals and people without a leash and behave so well. My only regret is not having him trained sooner as he is now 3 years old. We have a one year old Goldendoodle. She was lively, but a bit difficult to handle for everyone in our household. We tried two training classes through a common commercial pet store, but it didn't quite get her obedience and attention to the level we needed. After Off Leash K9 Training, we have a new dog and a new life. She is no longer biting our wood, play biting us, running wildly through the house, pulling us on her walks, and pestering guests when she shouldn't. She is well behaved and can now be placed and sitting for us when needed. Not only that, he incessant barking during the night has stopped. I can sleep the whole night without being woken up. We were in desperate need for help with our big boy Otto. Otto had demonstrated aggressive behavior that was fueled by his anxiety and we did not know how to help him. Sarah Morin was our trainer and she was wonderful! My puppy was 7 months old when we started and I was very nervous. I texted Sarah with every concern and she got right back with me every time. My puppy Harper loved Sarah and did great with the training. She passed her Canine Good Citizen test and the UT Vet School HABIT test, and is now a therapy dog. We visit hospitals and other programs and she is super popular with all the patients. She's still a lively little puppy but knows how to behave in all situations. We can take her anywhere with us, including restaurants, which is great for her as well as for us. I have recommended Off Leash K9 Training to several friends and they have all had good experiences. My dog and I worked with Sarah on his aggression towards other dogs. Sarah helped me learn my dogs triggers and was able to put him in some good situations with other dogs in a controlled environment. I’ve been working with Sarah for several months now and I absolutely could not be more satisfied with her skills and how well my dogs are adjusting. I have four big dogs so training 3 puppies and an older stubborn pup can be quite challenging but Sarah was amazing! They are on the training collars and have learned basic commands such as sit to more advanced ones such as heel. Obviously with four dogs it will continue to take time but we she is always willing to help sharpen our skills as well as the dogs. She even told us that she boards so the dogs can stay and continue to work on their training with her while we are away. I am so happy with all the progress we have made and I recommend this company to anyone looking to train their pets! It’s worth every penny! More...

The absolute best thing that could have happened for my dog! When we first put him here for a board and train things did not go very well with the entire situation. Sarah took over our dogs training and I could not be any happier with the way things played out. She is so amazing with the dogs she takes in and truly loves them like they're her own. Due to the great experience I only took my dog to her for boarding as well. I drove over 45 minutes whenever I had to leave town because she is the only person I trust with him. I was so sad that we had to move because she is so great I did not want to have to try and find someone else. Sarah M. at Off Leash Training Tennessee is awesome. We contracted with Off Leash for a 2 week board & train for our 5 month-old aussiedoodle puppy. Kricket was an overly-excited, jumping, barking, herd-nipping, leash pulling, strong willed, wild and sweet cutie who was not outside potty trained. Sarah worked her magic and brought back a much calmer, well-disciplined pup. Within 2 weeks, Sarah taught her to sit, stay, down, come, place, heel, outside potty and off leash walking with no more herd-nipping, no jumping and no barking except at doorbell (which is ok with us). Sarah was absolutely amazing. We have a Malinois mix and she is head strong, hyper and used to pull us around everywhere. She has extreme anxiety and it used to stress me out to take her anywhere . After we did the basic and advanced training with Sarah it’s like she’s a completely different dog! She listens, we can take her places with us without struggling to control her and she’s a much happier dog! I can't imagine what life would be like without our Sarah! She helped our precious boy Big learn how to be a dog after humans had been so cruel to him. She worked with him and our family so that we could be the human parents he needed. The commands were simple and easy for us and our young children to follow and they helped with our confidence in having a higher maintenance fur baby. Sarah Morin was the primary trainer for my dog Moose. He’s a shepherd/lab/Akita mix and I’m sure you can imagine his size and brute strength just from that. Prior to training, my 2 year-old labradoodle was never still. She barked for attention if we were talking, she constantly got things she wasn’t supposed to get (socks, glasses, toys), she didn’t come, and she pulled terribly on her leash. After Off Leash K9 training (our trainer was Sarah), our puppy walked beside me with no leash at all (even with distractions), she doesn’t get off-limit things she used to get, she stays in one place until given the command to leave it, and she doesn’t bark. During training, we were able to see her learning through wonderfully detailed videos and pictures, and we could chat with Sarah any time. The environment was safe and happy. Our dog seemed to love Sarah. When we got our puppy back, Sarah went over a few quick and easy commands that solve every problem our dog had. We just continued using the commands and we haven’t had a single problem since she’s come home! But if we ever did, Sarah is right there to help, checking in on us. Sarah trained my 1 year old lab, Sunny, he was wild and couldn't control himself when he left. I knew he was smart and so I sent him to train while I was out of town for 2 weeks. I can now take him anywhere, he's great in the car & in public, he stays right by me, comes when I call him, and he doesn't chew on the carpet or furniture - like he used to! The e-collar is more if an adjustment for the owner than the dog, so you have to be committed to having it on you always and not letting things slip! We were amazed with what Sarah did with our little guy. He was 5 months old and full of life. He is such a great dog, but he would jump on you bite you all in playing but it was annoying. He would attack our other dog constantly and wouldn’t do anything we asked him to do. So we decided to go with the board and train program. Two weeks later Sarah brings him back and he walking down the driveway right at her side. He comes into the house and our other dog comes to greet him and he just goes over plays and sniffs but never bites her ears or tail. He no longer chews on our shoes or furniture and he doesn’t try to chew on us either. He listens and obeys the commands and is such an awesome pup now. I would highly recommend Sarah and Off Leash K9 training. It has made such a difference and our friends and family can’t believe the difference two weeks of training has made. He still has his puppy fun, but it’s such a joy being with him.

Sara was great! I can’t say enough. My 1 year old Vizsla was a runner and would dart out the door every chance he had. We had tried traditional training and it just wasn’t working. After 8 lessons and working with him at home, he is now running trails off- leash. I still leash him elsewhere but he loves to run free! We could have never have done that before.
