There are clubs that purport to know and understand karate , but with only basic and watered down techniques, With Odachi Karate Academy you can be rest assured that what you are taught is traditional ,practical and useable karate . Elida taught me one of my very first karate lessons as a child. She is a fantastic instructor, knowing how to motivate and get the best from her students.
Her lessons were fun and varied, whilst ensuring that her students knew everything they needed to in order to grade to the next belt.
As an adult I had the pleasure of both teaching and training alongside Elida. Her students are privileged to learn from such an experienced instructor. Every student is treated as an individual and nurtured to succeed.

I can't think of a better instructor to run a club. My karate days with Sensei Elida run back almost 40 years.. She had the most amazing teacher with her own mother being a very influential lady in karate. It doesn't matter what age.. 4 or 94 Sensei Elida ensured lessons were fun and structured as well as being disciplined and effective at the same time... both Sensei Pauline and Sensei Elida both made ever lasting marks to my life for which I am grateful daily..
