literally cant reccomend james and occasions enough , wonderful customer service , wonderful gowns, felt so comfortable when we were looking for " the dress " no pushy sales staff just lovely ppl , I was amazed at how James just knows the style , fit and dress that will suit , and what an incredibly beautiful collection the choice is outstanding its another level my daughter looked like a princess and we said yes to the dress , thank you so much ❤

What can I say! To say I am super fussy would have been a understatement, I had a picture in my head of how I would like my dress to be after purchasing a dress simply for the corset bodice, Elena and James went to work on reassuring me my dress would turn out how I envisioned it. As a larger woman I hated the thought of trying my dress on and was slightly apprehensive and I would like what I see standing in front of the mirror, but they absolutely blew my mind with all the work they had put in on my dress as I stood in there show room ( which i may add is beautiful) staring at myself in the mirror and realising I fell in love with my dream dress. Elena was amazing at helping me fix the zip of a bridesmaid dress which I had 24hrs to achieve, at first I was given some good advice to be able to help myself however due to time I just couldn’t do it, I took the dress into her Thursday afternoon and was called Friday morning for collection, for how much it cost me I wish I had thought of her sooner, absolutely amazing lady, thank you so much for coming to my rescue, I will definitely recommend their services. I took my skirt, which I had bought online, into the shop needing an alteration to the hemline in time for my holiday (in 1 weeks time! !.) James and Elena were very very helpful. James was very welcoming and thorough in sorting the length ensuring it was perfect and I was happy with the length before I left it with them. I was extremely pleased with this service already, but to add to it I received a phone call from James regarding the completion of my skirt and that it would be ready to collect the next day. For the mpney I paid for this service I would recommend it to everyone and anyone in need of alterations. When the day comes that I require a wedding dress, there is no other place I would dream of going for a fitting or even just an alteration. Thank you so much Elena for the alterations to my daughters prom dress. After finding that the seamstress, whom had already altered the dress and didn’t do a proper job of it, my daughter was refusing to wear it! ! After a call to James and an appointment 15 mins later. Elena worked her magic and where there were tears before after the alterations which were done a few days later there was a smile from ear to ear! So, walking into any wedding shop for the first time can be very daunting! It was lucky that the first wedding shop I walked into was OccasionsBeing only 5ft 1 I didn’t think any dress would look great on me. James reassured me and helped me pick types of dresses that would suit my body shape and height. James also talked me through why he was choosing dresses and why they would suit me. The first dress I tried on was AMAZING- I didn’t want to take it off.Moving forward. We left the shop after trying on 7 dresses and made another appointment at another shop.The experience I got from another shop was not the same experience I got from Occassions and left that shop feeling very disappointed.I booked to go back to Occassions and this is where I said ‘YES to the dress!’ The very first dress I tried on! James know my dress from the beginning but didn’t push me into it, I was allowed to try on as many dresses as I liked, but James’ choice was the one I felt fabulous in. I visited Occasion's to find a wedding dress and from the first visit Elena and James have been very helpful, polite and friendly. I have visited several wedding shops before this and found my 'dream dress' here.
