We had such a great time! I had no idea when I got tickets on groupon how much history and awesomeness there was to this murder mystery dinner. We played against 4 other locations across the United states. All of these friends started the show who done it. They decided to keep things going with their own restaurants/mystery games. You can watch the same game we played on Amazon Prime in December. The food was and service were great. We were the only team to figure it out. When we left we were in the lead!!! Each of us had a character, we had back history to get into our role. I wont go into to many details but it was a blast getting into character and talking through with our team. We were back and forth but we nailed it!!! We cant wait to go again!!! More...

I kept hearing about this spot, and thought they only take reservations. Wrong! They offer walk in customers lunch all the time. One day whilst strolling by I was greeted by a young lady who informed me they take walk in customers all the time for lunch. I said I will tell my girlfriend and we will be back soon. Yesterday June 27th Thursday 2019 we walked to the restaurant it was such a gorgeous day for it. I being a wherlchair user had noticed this place when we moved to Zionsville was wheelchair friendly. We decided to sit in the beautiful patio area, and as you see in my images it is gorgeous. We were told a story about a very old and cool tree that came down last year. The tree was turned into a chair that is in the same spot as the tree was. The home converted to business was built in the later 1800's talk about cool. The service is second to none. Immediate attention to our needs. For me a chair was moved, and unlike most places I didn't need to ask or move it myself. 5 stars for attention to the customer's needs. The tables are arranged so plenty of room makes it easy for a wheelchair user to comfortably enjoy the full experience. The menu has a very nice assortment of items to order, and on the back are the drinks. I got the Serenity Panini, and a lemon mint tea. The tea took me back to when I worked in CA, on University Ave and at Stanford U. Where a little cafe in European style had fresh food and tea brewed in front of you. What an excellent memory.The Panini was made to absolute perfection. The ingredients were very fresh, and one could not possibly ask for any better. The serving sizes are ample, and the prices are very reasonable. I can see why this is so highly recommend by countless folks, neighbors and friends. We were also told they have really exciting themed meals, and dinners that are a lot of fun to experience. We beat the lunch rush as all the outside tables filled up soon after we got arrived. Highly recommended, and we will be back. Five stars all the way. A first class restaurant. More...

This was a great experience. We did the backwards dinner. Which means we did dessert, main course, soup/salad. The food was amazing and they even had a magician! There was a murder mystery going on while we were there and it was cool to see that going on as well. Did I mention the food was amazing? The menu is very limited, but they had a nice mix of items. Bought 2, 3 course dinners on Groupon at a amazing price. The food was very good (served backwards). They also had a mystery dinner option and few other options. From what I could hear the people presenting the mystery dinner were very enthused. I could tell everyone was having fun. More...

Serenity Cafe and Tea Room in Zionsville is the best food I have ever eaten. Two nights ago, it was a Pacific Northwest 8 course meal with paired wines. I normally do not like dry wines (but after 6 glasses who cares, I mean .....?)I learned about food with flavor without adding salt. We tasted clams and I now love it. I learned about legging with wines. I totally enjoyed the evening with my boyfriend and my former roommate in the 90's. This was the absolute best food, best conversation and BEST 6 wines ever!!! The murder mystery was fun. The dinner was not that great, very bland and all tasted like it was cooked together, in a steamer/oven. We where expecting more given that the place was next to some of the trendy restaurants in Zionsville. More...

My wife and I went to a murder mystery dinner there. The place is beautiful, in a scenic little town. Food was good.The murder mystery was fun. My only gripe is the answer wasn't something you could deduce logically. The answer was based on information that we never received.To be fair though it was the first time they did that particular murder mystery and may not have had all the kinks worked out.It was still a lot of fun regardless. I attended the 5 course murder mystery dinner with a big group of 12 people. They split us up at 2 different tables and we all thoroughly enjoyed competing against one another to attempt to solve the murder. The food was delicious, and the portions were sized so you could eat all courses and not become so overly bloated that you feel your stomach is going to explode at the table. There were a lot of different dishes and only one had meat, so if you are vegetarian, you wouldn't walk away hungry.The waitress we had was amazing and hilarious. She supported our horrible acting and accents and went right along with them. The murder mystery itself was so fun. My table was laughing so hard and probably getting a little too into character. The story itself has so many twists and turns that everyone ends up looking like a suspect. We conferred with our other table and we all sort of agreed that identifying the murderer at the end was a complete guess. The only thing to be mindful of is that the building the mystery is hosted in, has very poor circulation/air conditioning. So, if you go during a very hot afternoon, it is going to get WARM in there. Wear something light, and drink tons of water if you are attending on a hot day.To sum it all up, this place is FUN! Getting into character and watching your friends and family get in to character is hilarious. If you are searching for something new and fun to do, this is it! The staff is amazing. This food is delicious. I am planning to attend another dinner in the fall when it's not so hot outside. More...

Cute little place. We had a groupon for brunch. We were unaware that brunch was not it's own menu or buffet, but rather a plate with an assortment of things crammed together and on top of each other. The food was good, had to do some trading since there were picky eaters in our group. Only 1 other table while we were there. Wait staff was sub par, seemed like they were all grand children of the owner. They sat at a corner table on their phones when not directly needed. More...

Had a ton of fun at the murder mystery dinner I attended! The food was actually really good-- I was nervous after reading some reviews on here, but it was delicious! Yes, the portions are smaller, but it's a 5 course meal and I left full.The mystery was fun, could've used some more instruction at parts. There definitely could've been some more information in the mystery to lead us to our conclusion though. Overall, it was a fun time and I would do this again. Definitely check Groupon for a great deal! More...

Went to our first Murder Mystery Dinner "Momma Mia". Had an absolute blast, fun, entertaining, plenty of elbow room at the tables (thank you for not cramming 10 to a table like some places do!
)
The only reason I didn't give 5 stars was due to the fact that my wife and I are vegetarian. When making the reservation, we were specifically asked if there were any dietary restrictions. I mentioned being vegetarian and was told it wouldn't be an issue.
The first course was a great soup, followed by a nice salad (would be nice to have pitted olives next time, nearly broke a tooth!), then a pasta dish. The main entree was served (Italian meatloaf, with a side of veggies, and mashed potatoes.) the veggies were great, but Italian meatloaf is far from a vegetarian item.
We were a little hungry still when we left, but not bad. Had we not picked this up on such a great deal on Groupon, we would have definitely said something. The staff was very nice, but since the event started late, they were at the table and gone in a flash. Could barely ask a question or make a request. They might want to consider an additional staff member or 2, possibly even 3, so that they have more opportunity to be attentive. Had we paid the full price, I would have definitely been put out.
Overall, great experience and will definitely go again with friends, as it is an enjoyable time, and a lot of fun. However, I will reiterate 2-3 more times and call ahead to ensure that we can enjoy the full meal.
Try it, you won't be disappointed it you like different, fun, and meeting new people.

The dinner was well demonstrated and put together quite remarkably. The tables had to keep guessing about who committed the crime, up until the last minute. To play against New York and Atlanta, and win, with Seattle playing upon us leaving was a definite bonus to help us put our detective goggles on. Poor Poora had to dance while serving dinner to the "Itsy Bitsy Spider", well done. More...
