I can’t begin to express my sincerest thanks to the Occasional Occasions Team! When I asked for a recommendation from the list of Spelman's preferred caterers, they didn’t steer me wrong. I’m very happy I followed their suggestion! I only received compliments on how wonderful the meal was and how professional the presentation was. One of the joys I have in working with Occasional Occasions by Carlton Catering is that he always ups the WOW factor with his food, event presentation, and impeccable service.

I reached out to Chef Carlton personally to discuss an invite-only event for my client, Zuri Bridal. Not only did he and his team take time to review event details and the menu with us, he successfully brought our vision of the event to life and well exceeded our expectations. Not only was my client pleased beyond words, his food, presentation, and customer service was all the rave among invited guests.

We used Carlton for a specialty corporate event. Not only did Carlton create a unique menu to fit our theme, he provided several options so we could have exactly the menu we wanted. This was also VERY short notice. Carlton was able to create a menu on Monday for an event on Friday. Okay, so the food - IT WAS AMAZING. Our theme had southern contemporary and Carlton just nailed it. His team was amazing during set up and without any prompting whatsoever came with beautiful decorations and set up, it really completed the whole event. We have had Carlton with Occasional Ocassions to our home several times for special events and we have never been disappoint.

As far as what I believe makes the catering experience with OO different is the “soup to nuts” factor and the personal touch. The food is deliciously beautiful, but that’s not the best part!

I love that all I have to do is buy some flowers and they take care of everything else for me. From staging the serving area to lighting the candles, they make it so lovely and hassle free for me.

I also really enjoy how they make our guests feel welcome and at home - from answering the door and taking a coat to making sure glasses are full to engaging with everyone on a friendly level. Everyone remembers you!

I had a wonderful experience working with Occasional Occasions by Carlton. Carlton was a pleasure to work with and helped me to plan a great menu on a short timeline for a family gathering of 20. He was responsive, and helpful in making changes to the menu as requested, and pricing was very reasonable. He was also able to include a few extra adults in the headcount on very short notice when we received last minute RSVP's! The food was awesome and he delivered everything on time with a smile. Everyone commented on how great the food was. We even had leftovers to enjoy the next day! I will definitely be working with him again in the future and referring everyone I know to his services.
