Good place to teach your dog how to swim!

My French bulldog absolutely loved Performance Pups! The dog lake was very clean, and there are covered areas for the humans. Definitely recommend if your pup loves the water. More...
Great place to take your dog to swim and play. The water is super clean and they don’t have a funky smell when coming out of it like other dog lakes. Odd hours, but they update it frequently so you know when they are open. Highly suggest. More...

I really love it this places my dogs was having fun!!!
Many many pretty dogs, positive and joy.
Excellent safe fenced dog swimming area that is fairly local to a lot of areas. The staff has always been super friendly and warm. And the nicest people bring their wonderful furry family with them. There is a great pier that is ideal to play fetch with those pooches who are eager to be in the water. Our Vizsla who normally doesn’t like to retrieve will not stop wanting to fetch a toy or ball thrown from the pier. And yes, the color of the water really is that amazing blue and green. I guess something to do with the lake. Best part is that when we leave our dogs will be asleep before we hit I-95! Definitely a must to check out. More...
I LOVE this park . Nice and clean . My dog is so happy here BUT I googled and it’s says the park is open on Tuesdays 4-6 but I drove all the way here with my dog and the park is close AGAIN . I wish the park was open at least during the opening hours or MORE . More...
I live in Palm Beach county and drive down. This place is one of a kind...yes, you still need to watch your dog, even though there is an "overseer". Yes, the hours might be a little difficult but...the calendar is updated frequently and new hours have been added in.This place is great! It ha has a beach, dock diving (costs extra), and even on the weekends, never really overly full. More...
Great opportunity to take your dog swimming in a clean lake. Staff on site. We really appreciated renting the park/lake for a couple of hours so our socially challenged, but big-hearted dog, could swim with her furry friends and not worry about dogs she didn't know. It was her day at the park! Staff is spot on with timing so any private parties start and end at the agreed time so others can use the lake before/after parties. Recommend to bring chair if you would like to sit down. Also, if your dog enjoys fetching a toy thrown in the water be prepared to bring toys! So much fun for the dogs and owners. (No swimming in the lake if you don't have four legs.)Update: 5/12/19 - enjoyed another excellent time at the lake. Another takeaway from experience is don't bring toys to throw in the water unless you are willing to sacrifice the toy. If the dogs don't want to fetch and if you have thrown it past wading distance, consider the toy gone. More...
Great water dog park! Wish they would open earlier.
Great place to introduce your dog or puppy to the water with a good amount of room to move around. The are no large fields and only a little shade under a couple pavilions. Still a great experience all around. More...
This place was amazing! My black Labrador loved this lake/river and he can’t wait to come back! A Rottweiler tried to bite my pup and that made me very angry so I would recommend that if dogs are aggressive then they should not be allowed into Performance Pups. The hose for the dogs was convenient and easy to use! I would recommend Performance Pups to any dog that wants to meet new puppy friends! More...
Such a wonderful lake to bring your dogs. They have a ramp for diving. You can even rent it by the hour for private sessions.
Now I'm giving this park five stars because it is a nice dog park that you can take your dog to and throw the ball into the lake over and over without too many qualms. However what is hilarious is when your next to that older lady in the sun hat with her three wild dogs running up and down the beach and then when you're 11 year old black dog wonders down by her crazy animals because he wants to say hi, she immediately judges my dog and starts yelling as to whose dog this is as we stand there looking at her wondering if this is going to be another dog park Debbie incident. Had a wonderful time. Great welcoming by the staff lady. My dog enjoyed the clean beautiful water.
Awesome place to get your dog in the water. Much more practical and accessible than the dog beaches. Friendly people and nice dogs there. Limited hours, you need to check the calendar and plan around it before heading out. More...
