As a personal teainer I continue to build on my personal practice as well as the services I love to provide for my clients. Even before all of the current shut downs, I've been been conducting private and group training online for an extended period of time and have an excellent system for all client needs and goals!

Obstacle Destruction is a great gym. The staff is very friendly and easy to talk to. They are knowledgeable and provide great advice. Cynthia is a great trainer. Obstacle Destruction has been a completely positive experience for me. I was afraid to get started because I was out of shape and I've never been athletic. Now I wish I hadn't waited so long. My trainer Hashem is awesome and the personal attention has really given me a far better work out than any exercise I've ever done on my own. By far one of my favorite places to be. The atmosphere is extremely welcoming which is due to the fact that all the trainers have great attitudes. The workouts are adequately personalized to what any individual needs or is looking for. I have been training at Obstacle Destruction for over a year now and I couldn't be happier with my experience. Shannon is my trainer and she is high energy and my workouts are never the same. She pushes me but also takes the time to work through my health issues and I love how she even will educate herself on my scoliosis so she can help even more. I have noticed a huge difference in my performance when I am climbing 14ers, skiing, even just picking up boxes! I love that I can train with any of the other trainers if Shannon happens to be gone (which is rare) and they are all extremely professional and pick up right where we left off. I kept ranting about how wonderful OD is so much that my mother now trains with Shannon and my sister trains with Hashem. Oh and the prices at OD where about HALF what I was paying another trainer who had me do the same workout every time. I get so much more out of what I pay now! More...

Obstacle Destruction is an amazing gym and they have definitely helped me get in shape! All of the trainers there are extremely qualified and are challenging and motivating! Hashem has been such a great trainer. He really takes his time in showing you how to do the exercises correctly and ensures that you are getting the most bang for your buck! I have a very busy schedule and it is always hard to find the time to workout. Chad and Hashem were able to accommodate my need for early workouts and be flexible. I have been coming to Obstacle Destruction for nearly 3 years. I can truly say, I keep coming back because of the trainers and the environment. The trainers push me to my max every workout but, are also very aware of when I need a more gentle workout. The trainers are diverse, in that I have never done the same workout over the past 3 years. Their methods are uniquely different but also similar. It is a welcoming environment, one that encourages camaraderie and growth. Before I even entered into my personal training at Obstacle Destruction, I contacted them via a third-party source. They replied to my inquiry about many of my concerns about starting a new lifestyle. Being fit has never been a priority in my life, so I was looking for a well-educated trainer who understood my concerns. My future exercise regime concerns were answered quickly and knowledgeably by Hashem Bakr. Following our online discussion, I scheduled my first session and was greeted professionally, yet with inviting enthusiasm to help me on my journey.After my first session I was very pleased with Hashem, my trainer, as well as the other trainers at the gym. While my time at Obstacle Destruction has been short, I have been pushed beyond what I believed I could do, all the while being encouraged by Hashem, the rest of the staff, and other clientele. This place is the best! I really can't recommend Obstacle Destruction enough.  I've been working with them for three months and the name really says it all, whatever you have that is stopping you from getting the workout you need, Chad, Evan and Shannon will help you overcome it.  They cater each workout to your specific abilities, needs and interests to make it as fun and as effective as possible. You really get more than your money's worth with Obstacle Destruction. I work out with them 4 times a week, and one of the really nice things is that while I work with different trainers depending on my schedule that day, they really communicate well with each other so that they build on the previous day's program even if they weren't my trainer that day. Their attention to detail and care is evident.  They check in with me every session to see if I'm feeling particularly sore, if I'm getting the recovery time needed to avoid injury and how I'm feeling in general so that they can make sure the workout that day is appropriate.  They talk to me about my goals and work with me to make sure they are doing everything they can to help me achieve them.I've worked with all of the trainers at various times, and while each of the them has their own style, they are all really great to work with. Their energy, positivity and encouragement really help you keep moving to try to do a little better each time. Even if you show up to your session feeling like it is the last thing you want to do, their energy is infectious and by the time you leave you are feeling so much better and so glad you came.  This gym is a very private, comfortable place to work out and sweat hard. I just recently moved to Colorado and one of the first things I did was seek out a personal trainer. I didn't know anyone in CO, so I had to rely on online reviews to help me decide. Picking a trainer without a recommendation or having met them in person is extremely hard; it's very important that you trust your trainer's instinct, experience, and awareness of your personalized needs. I was essentially taking a shot in the dark.I found Chad on Thumbtack, and after reading a number of excellent and thoughtful comments from his existing clients, I decided to reach out. Chad was extremely responsive and professional, and after just the first session I felt confident that I could work with him. He asked the right questions and invested time to learn about my fitness goals, past training experience, and injuries. All proceeding sessions were catered to my specific strengths and weaknesses, and were scaled as I adjusted to the atmosphere and elevation in CO (moved from the east coast). The workouts are different each time, which keeps it interesting. We focus on whole body circuits (which I love!) instead of muscle groups. A mix of cardio and strength keeps my heart rate up to ensure that I'm burning fat while building muscle (my specific goal).  If you are looking for a trainer who will push you and help you achieve your fitness goals, I would highly recommend reaching out to Chad at OD! I started working with Evan at Obstacle Destruction for several months now.  I couldn't be happier with his upbeat attitude, his preparedness in my workouts and contagious enthusiasm that keeps me motivated and challenged.  But the best part is how great I feel.  He tailors my workouts to fit my ability and increasing the difficulty to keep me challenged and improving.  With his help I have lost weight, increased my energy and see continual improvement in the building of my strength.  And, he makes it fun. I have had personal trainers before but never found the the right environment that made me want to come back.  I will keep coming back not only for the results I see, but because of Evan's professionalism, enthusiasm and his ability to make me love my workouts. Chad is a great personal trainer. After recently joining the Army I was looking for a way to get into better shape as quickly as possible so that I can be fully prepared for basic training, without having to go to a regular gym. I wanted personal training that was reliable and tailored specifically to me. That's what I'm getting at obstacle destruction with Chad. He pushes me hard and designs the workouts to fit my needs. Chad is awesome. He comes to my gym, kicks my ass, let's me complain, makes me laugh and makes me sweat...like a lot. Sometimes he dances and he even sings occasionally all the while getting my butt in shape.  I travel for work so when I'm home he comes to me 5 days a week if I want. My experience with personal trainers had been very limited, due in part to feeling intimidated as well as the typically high expense that came with working with one.  I decided to give Obstacle Destruction a try because working out on my own wasn't giving me the results I wanted.  At first I wasn't too sure about working with a male trainer but Chad, the owner, alleviated any and all concerns I had within the first session.  He is very knowledgeable and encouraging without being intimidating, all while giving me some of the best workouts I've ever had.  His prices are on the lower side but he is far from what I would consider a "budget trainer".  You definitely get what you pay for and much more.I have also attended many of his "boot camp" type classes on Sundays and absolutely love them.  He provides so much variety each week and offers different levels for every workout station.  I have never had a boring workout with him and doubt I ever will!  He will join in on the workouts and always demonstrates each exercise which I appreciate.  I can rest assured knowing that my trainer knows what he's doing as he was a college athlete and is obviously still very active in his personal life.
