So two carnivore's, two vegan's & a celiac's walk into a bar... Stop me if you have heard this one before LOL. All joking aside, this place is no joke. For the pint sized kitchen, which reminds me of some kitchens in England, they put out some amazing food. The aromas are carried through the air to the front door by live music, where they are so sweet and strong they could grab you from the street. The Mule's are strong and all the tea I have had so far had been fresh loose leaf. Try the leather - tobacco tea if you like earthy or dark teas.. All in all they had something for everyone plus there is seating indoors or outside by the creek, and I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a place to eat on that side of town. More...

Over 100 whisk(e)y choices for you to sample from $5-$100 per dram! Mead, microbrews, wines and other spirits are also on hand, as well as food. Great staff, wonderful atmosphere. We stopped in here for beer while window shopping on a Sunday evening. The place was slow around 5om, but they said a band was coming to play at 8. The place was clean, friendly, and enjoyable. I really want to love Oberon's. It's a great idea, which is a slightly renaissance-y dive bar with a cute little stage for live music. The menu looks pretty good, and to be honest I have eaten there a few times and it's been fine. I just remember getting a cold pot-pie there once which was disappointing, and overall I think the kitchen execution can sometimes be lacking. As a performing artist, my interaction with the booking agent in summer of 2016 was pretty much a nightmare, so they lose another point for a really inconsistent live music schedule. The bands that play there tend to be bottom of the barrel, only because they have no budget to pay them (to my knowledge). I absolutely love this place! I was visiting family in Klamath Falls and my Aunty and I decided to take a little trip to Ashland. We were just walking around the city and stopped in to check it out. The vibe is very chill, relaxing, with dim lighting and a great looking bar and small seating area. There’s a restaurant in the back that we did not see - we were definitely more interested in the bar. Dean was our bartender and she was such a delight to talk to. She made me some fun drinks, told us a little about the city and how she ended up in Ashland. We talked to Dean and I believe the manager and they told us stories about the bar and its history - it was such a cool night. I love this place so much we purchased shirts! ❤️ I really haven’t been a HUGE fan of Oregon, but I’m really feeling this city and this bar. Go here and tell Dean she’s awesome! More...
