I had a great experience with everyone at O'Connell Law except the attorney with whom I worked on my estate planning, Faiza Chaudhry. She was cheerful, energetic, communicative, and clear about the process, but she make frequent errors and never acknowledged her errors, much less apologized for them. On the contrary, I often felt that she tried to make me responsible for her errors. Her errors included substantive changes or omissions and confusions between different sections of the Living Trust. Yes, I had a significant confusion 2 weeks before we finalized the documents, but I immediately acknowledged and understood my mistake. The last two weeks were the most torturous. One draft after the other came back with mistakes such that I feared we would never have a final draft. Mercifully, we did. The other point I would make is that I think O'Connell should wait to charge clients the final payment, perhaps the final 1/3, until after the final, signed documents are provided. We went to O'Connell Law to update all of our estate planningdocuments which had been prepared years earlier by an attorneywho has since retired. Our first meeting with Tiffany made usfeel very comfortable that we would be dealing with someone whowas patient and accommodating as well as very professional. Insubsequent meetings she provided excellent guidance in areas wherewe had to make decisions one way or another. We've worked with O'Connell Law for several years now. Tiffany and her entire staff carry out complex operations with precision, courtesy, and amazing efficiency. I would mention two strengths. The matters she deals with entail numerous options and complex implications: Tiffany is superb as disentangling them, giving time to consider them, and offering further clarifications as needed.
