What inspired you to start your own business?
I opened my Private Practice/Company in September 2008, a few months after receiving my licensure as a Mental Health Therapist. I was inspired to have my personal practice as I had a different perspective on mental health and also I felt, a unique understanding of the human psyche. I wanted to be able to offer persons struggling with emotional dissonance with a private, safe and secure space where they could let go of all of the inhibitions and expectations of their family and friends, and be open and honest with their feelings, needs and desires.
Why should our clients choose you?
First and foremost, "I care." I am an active listener, good with clinical diagnosis and develop specific treatment plans for each client. I give "homework" as our goals are measurable and time related, to ensure that we are realistic with the progress towards meeting your specific goals. Additionally, I am easy to talk to, non judgemental and with good clinical insight, experience and training.
