No excuse fitness is best described as a fitness family rather than a training group .
All levels of fitness work together but at they're own pace ...we teach that the only competition is against yourself and if you have the opportunity to raise someone to your level . ..take it!
The philosophy is all based around positivity and finding confidence in yourself ,we aren't here to make you"look" good we are here to make you FEEL great and looking good is a welcomed side effect .Our goal is also to get you moving pain free and to find happiness .
The actual coaching is centered around correct running technique, as you see no one is taught how to walk correctly so how do you expect to be able to run ?
At the start all the begginners or "newbies" work on restoring mobilty/flexibility and strengthening the smaller muscles in your hips and legs ... the one's that have basically switched off because they don't use them any more .
Once i feel they are looking balanced we then advance them to jogging .
Once they are jogging pain free they are ready for the final stage ...
Sprinting pain free !
Most people have never attempted to jog as an adult let alone sprint ,so the confidence it brings them is incredible.
You know what they say about prevention being better than the cure... i also teach my NXF kiddlings exactly the same as to prevent there body breaking down in the future.
We also run once a month a group dinner where we all bring a plate of food and after the session come back to our house and share a feast .
NXF came about when i could see alot of problems with western medicine, the fitness industry ,mental health ,the way "energetic "kids where being delt with and society in general.
