I have been attending pulse light for a couple of years for laser hair removal, something I have been super self conscious about. Every experience has been positive with many of the staff (receptionists and practitioners), they are a lovely and friendly bunch of people all around. They genuinally care about the results and spend time ensuring the treatment is right for you. This I can personally vouch for! I have been seeing Eva more consistantly for my laser sessions and she has truly been amazing at ensuring results for some stubborn hair removal. I have been there for the last year and a half to do laser hair removal and the service was amazing. I had gone to previous places but because my skin is darker they said it wouldn't work. I can't suggest this clinic enough. The ladies are incredibly nice, put you at ease right away, are very efficient, always on time, and go the extra mile to help you and make your experience positive and effective. I've been several times for laser hair removal, and I've always felt embarrassed about my hair growth in the past, but the ladies are so supportive and the treatments are incredibly effective. Definitely recommend! In 2015 I succumbed to the very attractive offer for 8 all body laser hair removal sessions. It wasn’t cheap but I heard some good opinions so decided to give it a go. The patch test gave me the sense of what I’ve gotten myself into and the level of pain I was going to have to deal with. The appointments happened every 6-8 weeks depending on the speed the hair was growing back, and by the third appointment I was able to even hold a cohesive conversation with the very lovely and attentive consultant.When I’ve done 7 sessions we agreed that I was going to wait for a year or so as the hair at that point was hardly growing back at all so I left one session in case I needed it in the future. That was summer 2016. Since then I haven’t shaved. The. Best. Investment. I have ever made. To be able to not worry about shaving especially in summer, having smooth and soft skin on my legs and zero problems with any hair growth whatsoever.It’s been 3 years and I have just used my last session to pick out some single hair that have grown back here and there in the past three years. Totally recommend. Yes, it hurts in the beginning (then you get used to it - I promise). Yes, it costs a bit. For someone with a low pain threshold, I was quite nervous, but the technician (I forget her name now) made me feel very comfortable and at ease. About 3/4 months ago I switched therapists to Cristina. Cristina realised my laser levels were way too high and adjusted it, so I felt a lot more comfortable. I have been a client at PLC for over 3 years, and my experience with them has been wonderful. They have made me feel confident and comfortable through everything. Having struggled with dark body hair since adolescence, laser hair removal was on the bucket list for a very long time. I’ve been coming to Pulse Light Clinic for laser hair removal treatments for over a year and for one freckle removal treatment. The staff are so friendly. The removal has worked a dream on my bikini area and underarms - almost completely gone bar little about two hairs which may now have gone after my last treatment. On my legs there is a huge reduction but there’s still a some hair - but I think this is because the hair on my legs is finer and lighter in some patches, again could be a different story after my last treatment as my technician was super attentive with the settings. I usually had Cristina as my technician and she was absolutely brilliant, definitely the best technician I had. She was always extremely passionate about her work and asking a lot of questions about how your treatment is going. She really knew how to use the equipment well to get maximum results with minimum pain. Being sure to check in with me often on if I was coping with the pain, and adjusting the settings for different areas of my body which really gave me confidence that she knew what she was doing and was trying to get maximum results - and the results have been above what I could have expected!! I felt like she really cared about me as a client and I couldn’t recommend her enough!My freckle removal was also a dream. I only had one treatment with Cherry as I just wasn’t convinced it would work - but boy was I wrong! I had fairly strong freckles on my face and a handful of them were pretty dark and I found them distracting. All of the freckles have significantly faded after the one treatment and those pesky dark freckles have been knocked riiight back. The confidence boost I felt was massive. Cherry was also fantastic. Really listening to me and very slow and attentive with them the treatment. She talked me through the whole process and what to expect after and I felt very safe, all with such a lovely manner and I’m super happy with the results.
