Gill is great at what she does, she is really knowledgeable but breaks the science down into simple steps you can take to help you improve your nutrition. She is also supportive and encouraging as you make tweaks to what you eat. Would definitely recommend Gill to anyone for who wants to review and improve their diet! More...

I wanted to get summer ready, for about the last 12 years. It hasn’t happened YET. I love a celebrity diet, if it’s good enough for Beyonce! I tried the whole food plant-based clean eating vegan thing, but I was starving. Jill taught me how to eat a balanced diet and how to include the meats I like. She helped me make a few easy changes every week for about 2 months. She made it really simple. I sent her my food diary every few days for the first two weeks and then weekly. I wrote down all of my recipes and she helped me to adapt them to be more nutritious, including my Mum’s famous chicken bone broth soup. I swapped a lot of my vitamin and mineral supplements for whole plant foods. Weight loss was really easy at the beginning just using the meal guide and food diary improvements, but my progress slowed after a month or so. Jill altered my plan and explained about weight loss plateaus. She kept me motivated when I usually sack in it. Jill is a fun and caring Nutritionist, she takes a lot of the hard work out of it. I wanted to go more plant-based, but didn’t really know what I was doing and veganism scared me a bit. I’ve tried going vegetarian and vegan before, but failed. Jill taught me not to view going off diets as failing, but to keep with it and that it’s a process. I eat so much veg and beans now, and feel the best for it. I went to see Jill just a couple of days ago to tweak my already pretty healthy eating, as I needed to lose some weight and I was interested in finding out about more raw food eating. Jill was just lovely, very welcoming and friendly. Her articulate analysis was really thorough and although I have yet to put her programme into practice, the information she gave me was concise and easy to follow. Stuff slimming world, weight watchers or weight loss groups – go see Jill! I have tried so many diets – Atkins, Keto, Mediterranean, 5:2 intermittent fasting, cabbage diet, and they work for a bit but I go back to my usual habits. I’ve never seen a nutritionist, dietitian, nutritional therapist or anyone like that before. Jill really educated me about nutrition, and showed me exactly how to change my diet based on my food diary and foods that I eat. I saw her weekly and she helped me to change my recipes to be healthier, choose better foods when I’m out and examine all of habits related to food. I am mostly plant-based now. I highly recommend Jill to everyone. I’ve had some healthy eating nutrition plans from gyms and magazines before, but nothing like what I got from Jill. Great nutritionist and person to work with. Healthy meals were the last things we thought about whilst in the Philippines volunteering after Typhoon Yolanda, but Jill made an incredible effort to share nutirtional advice and assist with food preparation through our time there to ensure it suited our environment (ease of getting different types of food in this conditions) and our activities and daily life which weren’t always the easy to handle. This impacted over 100 volunteers at our volunteer base and by ensuring we get the nutritious (as much as can be possible in the Philippines) meals neccessary, meant we were all in a better position and more energy to help those in need when we weren’t putting ourselves first. Bit of background before I met Jill.... I was very lethargic and struggled to get through without lots of caffeine. My diet was meat heavy and a lot of processed meat at that! Jill helped with a diet that worked for me. She was super friendly with her approach and, more importantly, really knowledgable about nutrition. She introduced me to loads of different recipes, adding in more veg, fruit and grains - not forgetting the ‘superfoods!!!!’ Jill didn’t stop me eating meat at all, just developed a healthier way of eating meals with the inclusion of meat. I met Jill by chance through a friend, and when I heard about what she does, I was curious to say the least. I work in a high-stress profession, with long hours and little time to myself. I wanted to be healthy, but did not have time to think about it - so I continued with my old eating habits and old exercise habits, which weren't terrible, but also weren't working for me at all. With Jill’s help, I learned a new way to look at food and exercise, I learned how to be more kind and patient with myself, and I have since embarked on many new adventures. She opened my eyes to a world that I did not know existed - and since working with her I have continued on my own journey of self-exploration. She does not give you a bunch of answers that she insists are "right" or tell you how to do things (which in my experience, many other nutritionists/health experts do) - instead, she provides you with the tools and support to make the right decisions for you. I first went to see Jill after my doctor told me I had osteoarthritis in my knees. I also kept getting throat infections and was told I had tonsil stones. this had been ongoing for the past year. Jill put me on a whole food plant-based diet and taught me the best practices for preparing and cooking meals. She also taught me which foods had magical powers and why. I didn't notice too much of a difference the first 2 months and then bang! I suddenly had so much energy, I stopped getting swollen glands, I stopped getting eczema on my scalp and I stopped getting dry patches around my chin. Most importantly I felt naturally so healthy in my body. Jill was there to support me any time I had a question or if I was just really interested in her knowledge, I found she was always happy to share her findings. I don’t (yet) suffer from any health issues but wanted to know more about eating healthy foods. Jill visited and gave me advice about my current diet and food intake. I was shocked and completely unaware about how unhealthy some foods really are. I was looking for help for a while with my nutrition and diet to help with my acid reflux. A friend introduced me to Jill – the Nutrient Nutter lol! I choose the complex plan, mainly whole food plant-based, plus small amounts of all of the foods I wanted to add! Jill helped me so much, she changed my recipes, gave me a shopping list, told me which foods are healthier, taught me about clean eating and how to cook to maximise nutrition. She really is a top nutritionist! My acid reflux has really calmed down and I feel so much better. I cannot put into words, the amount of information that was dropped onto me from Jill. She dedicated hours, days and weeks in investing in me and she has not let me down. She has worked with me by my side and has given me the tools to better support myself in many ways. Jill literally broke down everything to me. Especially how my current diet threatens my emotional, physical, and overall health as a human being, providing me a very detailed 10+ page assessment.Within her advisory, I received a gamut of information that blew my mind. Jill continues to act as a trusted resource for me to call on and she also provides me emotional support as well.I can tell you this, if you’re looking for a nutritionist/dietitian to just scratch the surface of what you are wanting and hoping to accomplish/confront… I’m afraid she is not the one for you. Jill is knowledgeable, approachable and friendly - and prepared to visit you in your own home to discuss your needs in person. She will ask to look at your current diet but is non-judgemental and, depending on your goals, will sit down and work out a way forward with you. There is even room for treats! I found Jill super helpful, with her nutrition guidance easy to understand and would recommend her to anyone. She created a complex nutrition plan for me based on whole plant foods with the inclusion of my favourite foods. I had top up sessions with her every other week to maintain my progress. I am an illustrator and worked with Jill recently creating the characters for her logo. She was a great client to work with and clearly very passionate about her nutrition business. Although I generally try to eat healthily our conversations during the design process got me curious despite previously thinking that plant-based or vegan diets weren't for me. Jill gave me a few nutrition pointers that led to me trying a mini plan that then turned into a full plan!!! 28/05/2018I really have to recommend Jill, having really befitted from her expertise and advice. I worked with her in Nepal where she worked leading response teams in the devastating earthquakes of 2015, and I have to say she kept us strong and healthy despite limited resources, high prevalence of illnesses and teams working in extremely exhausting environments. She developed food plans for our cooks to ensure we were healthy enough to help those in need, and I was especially grateful as a vegetarian that she was able to ensure a fantastic variety of plant based meals. In such a high pressure environment, it was reassuring to know that you will have healthy and nutritious food to keep you going. Since then, she has been the person to turn to for friendly yet practical guidance on how to get the most out plant based food, and I have to say her secret weapon is her personality, which allows her to be clear and informative in a friendly and engaging way that really makes you love your veggies. Jill (Nutrient Nutter) has sent me lots of useful information on what we should and shouldn't eat and has definitely made me more aware in general, especially when it comes to oil.
I have personally seen the affect she has had on my wife, by putting in so much time and effort to understand her background, family and history with food.

She helped her with ideas for what she should focus on, all whilst explaining how to do it in a positive way. She focused on a whole food plant-based diet but without pushing veganism. She sent through a lot of information, backed up by facts, all which were very much appreciated.

It seems she is an expert on nutrition, after all she is a nutrient nutter!
If you are looking for a nutritionist in London or anywhere in the world (she helped us remotely here in the USA) she would be my best bet!
She is caring and understanding and purely wants the best for people, to help people.
She is top of the line and I would 100% recommend her!!

I have had two sessions with Gillian, 1 hour each, to learn about nutrition & where I'm going wrong.. she helped me to get my diet back on track & taught me the benefits of eating a whole food plant-based diet. Followed by a 30 minute top up session, to check how I was doing..
Gillian is both encouraging and knowledgeable in nutrition. She has helped me to lower my cholesterol from almost 7 to 5.3. I have lost 19lb in weight and she has advised me both which foods to eat and which foods to avoid to help with arthritis, which has helped ease the symptoms.
We are now having weekly mini sessions to keep me on track and lose the last few pounds to reach my goal weight, and to keep my cholesterol down.
Her plan is easy to follow & I haven't felt like I'm on a 'diet', just eating a healthy balanced diet.

A healthy diet is one of the foundations of someone's health and wellbeing. With excellent nutrition, you can be the healthiest version of yourself, and reduce you risk of suffering from many diseases, and in some cases even potentially reverse some disease states.

Good nutrition can be really easy, it is knowing what that really is, increasing your intake of healthy foods and reducing the amount of unhealthy foods that you eat.

Nutrition is one of the most important aspects of people's life's, along with movement & exercise, emotional & mental hygiene, connection & fulfilment, and wonderful relationships with others.

I love the power of nutrition to really help people in improving their health, and how they feel and look. I love working with people and being able to put all of my knowledge and reading to good use.

Since my degree, I have been helping anyone and everyone who has asked for nutrition advice, so it just made sense to do this as a career.

I'm really empathetic, friendly and approachable. I understand the issues and problems that people face with nutrition, and have many ideas and tools on how to improve this. I love the science of nutrition, and following my degree, I have spent a lot of my free time reading into nutrition, watching nutrition lectures and working closely with people to improve their diet and reach their goals.
