We visited Nour Mediterranean Cafe today after we discovered the restaurant we had intended to get lunch today was not open. Our venture proved to be rewarding as we enjoyed the meals at Nour. We began with the complementary pita bread and dip . The Veggie Mixed Grill ( bell pepper, squash, onion, tomato, mushroom and jalapeño pepper) was delicious and filling. The Vegetarian Combo Plate was very good. Both meals came with a choice of soup or salad. We enjoyed the Lentil soup. The Greek Salad with the addition of chicken was tasty. Our waitress was Alex who did a good job. We look forward to returning. More...

Absolutely outstanding! The falimy platter is an epicurean delight! Pictured is just the meat course! Also included was hummus and babaganoush followed by falafel, kibbe, grape leaves, pita and nour sauce. Enough to easily feed 4 and probably more. Best dining experience I have ever had in my travels anywhere...in the US, Canada, Mexico or Europe! More...

Nour sauce with pita is so great. A fabulous blend of garlic, lemon, potatoes, parsley and a hint of spice. Want to take some home with me. The chicken shawarma sandwich was just the right size and quite flavorful. Can't wait to return. More...

Been here a couple of times, and I love it! Service is always polite and fast. The laban and Baba ganoush are very flavorful. My husband, who is picky as ever loves the gyros and fries. They even delivered to us while we were sitting out at Puff Social Hookah lounge! Great food, great prices. Highly recommend. More...

Best hummus in town it just needed a little extra lemon and the Nour sauce is addicting, you will want to go back for more. The grilled chicken and beef kabob is excellent, never dry or overcooked. I've eaten there several times and the taste and how the food is prepared is very consistent. Two thumbs up! More...

Awesome. Gyros are great. Nour sauce on pita is outstanding! Lentil soup is very good. Spicy hummus leans toward a peanut butter flavor (heavy on the tahini? ) and needs a little lemon (provided) for my taste, but it's really spicy, and I like it overall. Mixed grill was also very good. House salad was good. Overall I'd say this place kicks butt. I really like the food, glad to have a place like this is in El Paso. More...

A must try!. This place is awesome! We had the spicy hummus and the falafels to start. My favorite part was the "nour sauce" that they bring to your table with your drinks. It's served with warm toasted pita bread. We also had the beef and chicken shawarma for our meals. The owner came by to talk to us and offer us complimentary tea after our meal too. All in all a great experience! More...

Gyros for lunch. Great atmosphere, I went for lunch and got a gyro + salad for $8.10. good food, gyro is comparable gyro to salma farah's - lesser portion, but very flavorable, and healthier too - didn't seem as salty or w as much fat. staff was friendly. place was packed. will definitely be going back. What a wonderful dining experience we had at Nour. First off the Nour sauce they brought out to us before we ordered was delicious. The spicy hummus followed next. It was great. He had the lamb shawarma and I had the falafel sandwiches. Both were wonderful and we were pleasantly surprised to see pickled beets in the mixture. Wow we sure are happy with Nour. It is very close to what we remember of the food in the Middle East. You will love it too. More...

Wow!!! This place was outstanding!!! I had the spicy hummus which was divine, I would've preferred a little more tabouli in my salad but it was still amazing, the lentil soup was out of this world and last but certainly not least the service was the best I've had in a while!!

Delicious! Probably the best Mediterranean food on the West side. I had the vegetarian plate, it was perfect. The flat bread is the best I've had. And the babaganoush, so tasty! I definitely would recommend this restaurant over other Mediterranean I have had on the West side. More...

Beirut comes to the EPT. Some of the best hummus I've had...made in-house, silky-smooth and very flavorful! The dressing for the house salad using tamarind seasoning is outstanding. The lentil soup was good ( I think they throw in some curry?) but in comparison I must say I do like the one at Al-Zaituna better. For my entree I went with the gyros plate, the meat was sliced paper thin, which is nice, and it was very tasty. Although for the price, the gyro plate portion was on the small side. My buddy ordered the mixed grill plate and it was definitely a larger portion. I also wish they had some more lamb offerings (...and even camel, but I know that's not realistic here!). The only other complaint is that their pita bread is not home made, that being said the one they do offer is not so bad. Overall, nice place with a nice and clean atmosphere and good food. More...

Tasty!. The overwhelming positive reviews lead us here. The hummus and bread were good and there was plenty of it. My Lebanese house salad was perfect. I highly recommend that. I ordered the shawarma chicken sandwich and was delighted (even though it had a few too many pickles for my liking). Partner ordered the mixed grill. The basmati rice was wonderful, the tomato and onion were tasty, and the meats were cooked just right. I took a bite of well prepared meat that was fresh and tender. That boy can cook! The staff was friendly and I will definitely be back. More...

Delightful meal. I am a huge fan of Middle Eastern cuisine so I was very excited to try this establishment for lunch once I heard of its existence. The place was very small and sparsely decorated but very inviting. We were seated promptly and our waitress took our drink orders right away. The menu featured a plethora of food items that you would find at other Middle Eastern restaurants in town but I did notice some unique dishes like the tomato kibbe; which I should have ordered but I will get next time around. I also noticed some not so traditional items, their hamburger and fries for example, which I found appalling. I ended up ordering the lentil soup and the falafel sandwich. The soup packed a lot of flavor but it was blended, which was a first for me. As for the sandwich, the falafels were cooked perfectly and I was pleasantly surprised that it came with pickled turnips. The wait staff was very courteous and the owner was very friendly and even gave us some Arabic coffee on the house. It was a great meal but I was very dumbfounded by the hamburger and fries. More...

Good but faltering. Been there twice, once for dinner and the other time for lunch. The dinner experience was wonderful and the food was great. The workers were a little disorganized but understandably so since they had only been open for 3 days. The lunch experience wasn't so great. Quality of the food had already decreased and I felt very rushed. They needt o slow down and go back to the details. More...
