Had the most lovely time today on a hawk walk. Horatio the Harris Hawk is a fabulous character and Glen his owner, who obviously adores what he does, was so knowledgeable. It was fantastic to experience the hawk flying to and from my glove during the woodland walk and also to meet an Indian Eagle Owl and the tiny Merlin. Bought a Hawk Walk Experience at Christmas for my Grandson. We went yesterday and were not disappointed. Horatio the young Harris Hawk was our young bird for the walk, he was fabulous and kept us entertained. Glen explained everything about him during the walk. When the walk was finished my Grandson was able to hold a Barn Owl and feed a Merlin. Grandson thought the experience was AWESOME. Will certainly be back. Give yourself a treat. More...

Today Northeast Falconry visited our school to help year 2 learn about Nocturnal animals. The children had a fantastic experience. They got to hold and stroke a Barn Owl and also an Indian Owl. They watched Glen feed the birds and also watched the Jack Merlin fly. Glen was brilliant with the children and answered lots of questions. An overall unforgettable experience. Glen was friendly and knowledgable and we learned loads on the day about birds of prey and even a little bit about the history of the English language! Bought a Hawk Walk for my husband for Christmas. Went along last weekend not quite sure what to expect and was amazed by this experience. My husband held the Harris hawk Helga while we walked through the wood at Ryton. The bird flew away to Perch on the trees and was then tempted back to be fed in the hand. Glen the owner told us information the whole way round the hour long walk which was really interesting. He was really friendly and we all enjoyed this . Would definitely do this again. More...

What do you love most about your job?
What I love most is flying our birds of prey. The bird control we offer is a natural humane way of deference before any other method.
We also offer rodent control, we are fully licensed and insured.
What inspired you to start your own business?
To continue working with birds of prey using the skills that we have gain from working in Canada, Dubai, Ireland and Mongolia.
