My husband went to doctor Dhupar for help with bulging discs and pinched nerves and an extremely painful lumbar spine. I can honestly say that the whole experience from our first visit to our last post op visit has been remarkable. Dr Dhupar is a very gifted surgeon but the thing that is rare about him is that he is truly caring and compassionate and made himself available to me on the phone after the surgery when I had lots of questions. My husband has dementia and there was some complications from the anesthesia but we were given lots of care and attention by both Dr. Dhupar and his staff and my husband now has a fully healed, pain-free back and no further issues with his cognition. I first went to Dr. Dhupar in 2013 because the disks in my neck were degenerating and nonexistant. He did a fusion. A year later I was in a car accident and my neck broke between the fusion, which the ER doctor never saw on the CT scan! ! So, I walked around for 2 months with my neck like that. I gave the CT to Dr. Dhupar and he saw it right away. There was my first set of rods. A year later, another fusion above that.... long story short, 2 fusions and 2 rod surgeries later, I wouldn't think of going to anyone else. Before I let anyone open up my back for surgery, I like to search the reviews talk with nurses and past patients. In all three categories, I got positive feedback. In my own experience I found him to be very meticulous and detail oriented. Having had six surgeries on my back I know a thing or two about that surgery and x-rays and MRIS. He saw things that other doctors missed in their reviews of the MRIs and x-rays. Being a biomed I have worked on every piece of equipment by many manufacturers and dr. Dr. DUPHAR is one of the few Orthopedic Surgeon I ever seen. I was referred to him by a friend and I'm thankful for my friend to refer me to him because I found him to be detail oriented, caring, highly experienced in his field, he takes his time to listen, and he did a superb job on my L5 bulged disk syst surgery. My primary care physician recommended
Dr. Dhupar to repair my damaged lumbar spine. We were not able to fix it on the first attempt. We discussed other options and scheduled another surgery. My pain is at a level that I can live with 2 weeks after the surgery. Dr. Dhupar is a talented surgeon, talks to you honestly and is very genuine in recommending options to help you. My experience was an emergency surgery I did not choose doctor du par but I did have a great experience with him he is an awesome doctor with a great bedside personality. My only complaints would be that my insurance is not accepted in his office therefore I was obliged to pay $200 cash for an office visit and a $150 cash at the same visit 4 cast supplies. I feel the cost was a bit out of range but again I do like the doctor and his staff very much. I would highly recommend doctor du par to anyone with good insurance. More...
