Gute Ausstattung im englischen Stil. Teilweise wunderbar kitschig und altmodisch, aber immer sauber und gepflegt. Sehr liebevolle Dekoration im Frühstücksraum. Das individuell zubereitete English wird am Tisch serviert. Typisch für kleine, private Pensionen ist die relativ kurze Frühstückszeit, die aber nach Absprache und Bedarf auch mal abweichen kann. Gerade in kleinen Städten sind unserer Erfahrung nach solche Guest Houses eine deutlich bessere Alternative zu günstigen Hotels! More...

This guest house is very much a homestay, it felt like we were staying at a close relatives house more than a hostel. As you would imagine, this means no front desk and casual service relationship, which some may find difficult although we had no problems. The owner, Adam, was easy to track down and always happy to help. He was an honest man and was a phenomenal help as a tour guide. He recommended some great day activities for my girlfriend and I, provided scooters for rent, and helped arrange all of it for us. The rooms were clean and had good AC, and it is clear that large amounts of construction are underway to further improve the property. It was an absolutely perfect place for the two of us young Canadian tourists, and we would recommend it to anyone who is looking for a budget stay and a genuine local experience. More...
