Established in 2009 by Gian Bohan, Nonnas Chesterfield offers quality modern Italian experience always in development. We believe in delivering great food, great wine and great service within the Restaurant & Bar as well as to our outside catering and events.

Had a lovely meal as a large group. The arancini were the best we've ever had. The pulled pork and chicken dishes were great and accompanied by really nice sides. The ravioli was tasty. Fantastic evening........My wife and I along with 8 friends visited Nonnas, Chesterfield this evening, 6th of April (2019). Wow, what a place. As soon as we entered the restaurant we were warmly greeted. We were shown to our table, we had booked the table a couple of days before, and asked what we would like to drink. Then menus were given out. We were not hurried into making our choice of starters, mains etc. The place was absolutely packed to the rafters and the restaurant had a fantastic buzz. The waitresses were excellent, very friendly , efficient and attentive. The food was superb. Most of our party had starters. I had the calamari in tempora batter. The portion size was huge and cooked beautifully, great value for the money,£7. Our mains were equally superb. None of us had dessert, we couldn't as we were all so full. Thank you for a lovely evening .5 of us met up for pre Christmas fun.The welcome was warm and as the main restaurant was busy and a large group was also enjoying the festivity we were offered a quieter area to eat. The food was awesome and my vegetarian option was delightful to look at and totally delicious!! We celebrated my daughters 18th Birthday on Sunday and had the Nonnas 3 course banquet menu for 20 guests. The food was absolutely superb and plentiful and all cooked to perfection. The service was excellent throughout with friendly and attentive staff. We are frequent visitors to Nonnas but this was the first time we had experienced the banquet. Been going to Nonnas since it first opened and still visit mainly for breakfast or brunch. We haven't been for an evening meal there for quite a while as we go far and wide to eat now but as we had two of our sons with us this weekend we thought we would give it a try again (and also because there aren't many places open serving food in this area on a Sunday evening! ) we loved it! The food was spot on and the usual Nonnas vibe didn't disappoint. I was here last night (21st October) to celebrate my 40th birthday with 14 special friends. The food was beautiful. The service was excellent and Leonardo was great to liaise with regarding menu choices etc. Slight issue with the last minute menu changes due to the new menu coming out this week but it was soon resolved.
