About

I started my career as graphic designer and after 10 years I then progressed onto UI design & web development using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Bootstrap & WordPress so I'm perfectly suited to projects that involve either or both disciplines. I now have over 10 years experience working as a graphic designer and over 12 years working as a web designer/developer.

Throughout my career I have experience of working both as an in-house designer/web developer as well as working within a design agency environment as well as many years working freelance.

Work History :
I worked most recently for 6 years as an in-house Web Developer at The Milton Group, Malvern, designing and building commercial websites using Photoshop, wire-framing, HTML, CSS, JavaScript & Bootstrap.

Prior to that I worked as a Web Developer / UI Designer for 5 years at a web design agency called EC-Plus in Kidderminster, as the sole UI designer creating web designs in Photoshop and building websites using semantic HTML & CSS.

Before that I work at Synergi Design, a design for print & web development agency, creating business branding, logo design, business cards, leaflets, posters, exhibition stands as well website design & development.

Before which I worked in-house a graphic and web designer at Hard to Find Records, in Birmingham, producing magazine advertisements, quarterly 100 page catalogues, posters, leaflets / flyers as well maintaining and developing the company website.

My first job role was working as graphic design for a design/print agency called Dawn Printers in Birmingham producing flyers, leaflets, brochures, branding design, logo design.

So you can see throughout my career I have worked on a broad range of design / development projects and have always kept a core interest in all things design whilst progressing my web development skill-set.
