NJ Sings, LLC is a great company to work with! Rodger took plenty of time to communicate with the Bride & Groom to make sure everything went as planned. He also officiated the ceremony and made it very personal. It was as though he had known them for a long time. The ceremony was beautiful and the guests had a great time at the reception. Rodger was really really great to work with. Choosing a DJ is difficult when you’re doing it blindly and only have reviews to rely on. We made the absolute right choice for my daughter’s Sweet 16. Rodger communicated with me before, during and after the event, gave me suggestions on different activities for the party, accommodated all my timing requests and kept me on schedule with delivering him the playlists beforehand. Rodger was the best decision we could have ever made. He has been nothing short of extraordinary through the process of planning a wedding through a pandemic. He was flexible, understanding, and accommodating. He brightened up our days even when we were navigating the uncertainty of our 1st wedding date, 2nd wedding date, and 3rd wedding date. Rodger’s positivity and attitude kept the party boat afloat—we had a blast even with our little family “after party” following the early sendoff. We loved every moment of our special day and we danced off that stress from the hours of planning during a pandemic.

Rodger was terrific! He kept in touch with the event organizers beforehand. He requested lists of favorite songs ahead of time. He was there early, set up and was playing music as people arrived. He was really our Master of Ceremonies, making announcements, moving the event along and getting people out on the dance floor. Rodger was referred to us by a friend and he did not disappoint! He was just great from start to finish. It was a second wedding for both of us, so he made sure he understood exactly what we did and did not want from a music standpoint during the ceremony and the reception which were both at the same venue.

He was extremely professional with his follow-up to make sure he prepared for our event and was very flexible when 3 weeks before the wedding, we found out we had to change the venue, the time and the type of equipment he would need. My husband and I are very pleased with NJ Sings DJ Services! We had Rodger as our DJ/MC for the wedding reception. We are satisfied 100% and would choose him as our DJ again! Rodger is very professional and fun to work with. We had initial meeting with Rodger so we could meet and so he could get to know our family. He spent time prior to the party making sure we go through the itinerary and include everything that needs to be included and make sure all the pronunciation is correct. He was very thoughtful in accommodating all our needs and custom requests. Our wedding reception was very unusual and it was multi-cultural. Rodger was able to make everything work and accommodate all customs to our party making it very special (including international songs and traditions). He surprised us with some fun games that were just right; not too much but made people laugh. Before any important parts of the event, he would make sure that our photographer is ready to take good pictures. We did not have to worry about that during the party. He was able to accommodate last minute changes and proposed some changes himself according to the situation. Our wedding was scheduled for longer than a typical wedding and Rodger was very accommodating to that as well as wasn’t in a rush to end the party. All of our guests had so much fun. Officiant services review. We wanted a wedding that began with a cocktail party into the ceremony and dinner and dancing to follow. We hired Rodger first to be our DJ and then found he was also an officiant. He spent hours on the phone with us and wrote the most unique, perfect ceremony for us. We laughed and cried our way to forever because we are not solemn people. I cannot even put together the correct sentiment to explain just how perfect the ceremony was. Since the wedding that has been the number one comment, that our ceremony was amazing and special and heartfelt. Look no further! Words cannot describe how thorough and professional and fun Rodger is to work with. From the moment we spoke to him the first time to decide if we wanted to hire him he was amazing. Our music was perfect and our wedding lovely. He also served as our officiant and I am going to write a second review just about that. I was in a real pinch for my 50th birthday when my DJ canceled 2 days before the party because he got covid. I was freaking out so I turned to the internet. I found Rodger on a site with good reviews and emailed him right away. He responded with in a few mins.

I do not know where to start. Rodger helped us organize a detailed timetable and music plan. He had to adjust to COVID restrictions such as not having a dance floor. He was creative and enthusiastic from before the wedding started to after it finished. His attention to detail and ability to deliver on all of our requests was second to none. Wow! What an absolutely spectacular experience! Rodger is an utmost professional! Recently we hired Rodger for an annual employee celebration dinner for 100 employees at our health system. From visiting our location prior to the event to see the conference area, arriving early day of to setup, and completely awesome presentation throughout our dinner, he truly delivered!! Rodger is THE MAN! We have hosted many parties but none have gone as well as when Rodger was the DJ. Our party was on Sunday but that did not stop anybody from filling the dance floor due to Rodger’s enthusiasm. His music choices transitioned perfectly throughout the night. We had 16 kids at our party and he kept him occupied the entire time. Prior to the party he was very easy to get in contact with. He was also very interested in the music selection that I wanted to hear as well. Rodger is a professional but I also treated me like a friend and we feel like he is part of our family now. Roger was the DJ for my dads surprise 50th birthday party back in 2016. After seeing how much he interacted with the crowd at my dads party, I knew i wanted him to DJ my wedding! ! After I got engaged, Rodger was one of the very first vendors I contacted, to make sure he was available for our wedding day!! :)

My cousin and I had an 80's themed 50th birthday party this past weekend, and NJ Sings was the life of the party!! Rodger was so attentive to our guests and had an outstanding array of music genres that kept everyone on the dance floor all night. The light show was just the icing on the cake. We also asked for a karaoke hour and Rodger did not disappoint. As my friends and I are karaoke junkies, we appreciated the vast selection of songs and he was a great sport, even giving out prizes, although most of us were just dreadful! As the social director for a new 55 and over retirement community, I was apprehensive about organizing my first community barbecue bash. I was lucky to find Rodger for our DJ. Prior to the event, Rodger requested I email the residents and ask for "song requests" for the party. I sent Rodger a list of songs and he was able to get a sense of what music the crowd would like. He played every requested song during the party. Rodger motivated the group to dance and engage in karaoke singing! And he gave out "wine goblets" to those who were brave and took the microphone to sing. Rodger arrived early to set up, never took a break, and stayed late to play a few more songs. The BBQ Bash was a great success and we all immensely enjoyed the DJ.
