Nina Florist is a great flower shop. It's owner donates to a non-profit known as Forgive and Release (grief partners) for the last two years. I loved our flowers from Nina's florist! I met with a few florists, and though several were similar in price, Mike really understood what I wanted and gave great ideas for making the bouquets and centerpieces beautiful (for example, our colors were gold and burgundy, so he spray painted some of the leaves gold). He was very honest about price and worked with me to have flowers I loved in my budget (we ended up doing half of the tables with candles only). Highly recommend!!! More...

Nina's Florist provided my flowers for my special wedding day and were an absolute pleasure to work with! Mike sat down with my (now husband) and I and discussed all of our wants/needs for our big day and made it all happen. He didn't pressure us into getting things we didn't really want or need like some other florists have done and he had great knowledge and pictures to show us of previous weddings he's done. My bouquet was absolutely beautiful and I got a lot of compliments on my beautiful arrangement we had above us on the gazebo where we were married! Mike at Nina’s Florist was wonderful to work with. When we had our first meeting, I didn’t have much of a sense of what I wanted, but Mike listened to what I was saying, and was an endless stream of ideas. Because the venue didn’t need much in the way of decoration, we decided to focus on simple centerpieces for the tables, using antique glasses, vases, and other miscellanea that we inherited from several grandmothers. Six weeks before the wedding, we delivered five boxes of antiques and two more of books to Mike, and let him have free rein.

The result was breathtaking. The centerpieces were simple and elegant. Far from overpowering the space or the tables, they blended in seamlessly yet also created a wonderful focal point. Our personal flowers were similarly beautiful, and he delivered them to my hotel room bright and early the morning of the wedding.

Hiring Nina’s Florist was one of the best decisions I made during the wedding. Mike never suggested anything that didn’t fit the feel that we were going for, and even told us not to bother with certain things because it wouldn’t be worth the money. I'm in CA and have a friend in Cincinnati who was recovering from a minor surgery that I wanted to send flowers to.. After researching on Yelp I called Nina's. The woman who answered the phone was super nice and accommodating, and she called me back later to check in and make sure I was ok with what she had put together. I asked to spend about $60 and they made an arrangement for $60 including tax and delivery, which I wasn't expecting and was a pleasant surprise. 4 stars instead of 5 because I didn't like the fake butterfly they put on the arrangement.. Probably too picky given the rest of the experience was great but I didn't ask for it and thought it was a little tacky. Just not my personal taste. More...

Nina's Florist is owned by a father and son - both instantly made my husband and I feel at ease upon first meeting them, and it was easy to see that they genuinely cared about pleasing their customers. A few months before our wedding on October 25, 2014 we decided that we really couldn't do the bride and bridesmaid bouquets by ourselves (we were trying to save $$! ) and we started looking for a florist. I found Nina's Florist on Yelp and decided to give them a try, and I'm so glad I did! From our first conversation Mike was so professional and helpful that he completely put my worries to rest. He asked all of the right questions, including what my budget was, and created the most beautiful bouquets for our wedding. Mike also delivered the flowers to us on the day of the wedding, so we didn't have to worry about having someone pick them up. We had set our eye on a fairly uncommon flower, but thanks to Cory at Nina's florist, we got everything we wanted. The flowers looked awesome in the bouquets. The boutonieres were a bit fragile and we had to keep adding flowers from our bouquets to make the boutonieres look "full." However, we did pick a delicate flower. The corsages rather than use a velcro strap or elastic band, he made them into elastic beaded bracelets which all the mothers and grandmothers preferred. Nina's Florist is great!! My girlfriend is from a small town in Texas. She went back home for a while. I wanted to surprise her with her with her favorite flowers, which are Orchids. I was helped by a gentleman named Cory. I gave him her address, and there where no florist in their network in that area. So he google searched for florist in that area, and printed out a list of shops. I'm thinking it's down hill from here.. Wrong.. My next roadblock was finding someone who had Orchids in stock, and would deliver that far out. So, Im on the phone calling around and in between customers he is making calls too. After about 40 minutes of calling around. Cory found a shop that carried Orchids and would deliver to the town. My girlfriend got the Orchids and loves them!! Cory went above and beyond of what he had to do. Especially since they weren't getting a sale. For that I am thankful, and wanted to give them this review. Keep up the good work!! More...
