My little nervous girl maggie goes every wednesday. It didnt take long for her to settle in and although she is still a shy dog when i get to nilz door shes keen to go in waiting for the door to open. Our 2 year old sprocker has been with Nilz and Helen for home boarding and doggy day care and we would highly recommend them. Tess is always incredibly excited to see them and it's obvious the amazing care she gets and how much she loves being with them and Harley. Not only does Tess get plenty of exercise and lots of socialisation, it warms our heart to know she's treated as if she was their own. More...

Nilz and Harley had my cockapoo Lola for 10 days last year when we went off on holiday abroad. I was so worried about leaving her, but I really needn't have, because she had the most amazing time and they took such good care of her that she bearly missed us.
I have no hesitation recommending them, Nilz and Helen are both such lovely people and Harvey is such a gentle giant. If you want your dog to feel at home and receive the kind of care you give to them then Nilz and Harley are the people to go to. More...

Nilz and Harley look after my 1 year old Basset Hound, Toby, twice a week for daycare whilst I’m at work and have done since he was 6 months. Toby has the greatest time running round and playing with Harley and all the other dogs and comes home completely shattered - which for those of you who’ve had puppies will know, is a nice change. Most adult dogs dislike puppies but Harley has been fantastic with him and it’s been awesome for his socialisation with other dogs. Nilz is always finding new walks and things to do in the garden, the latest edition being a toy tower and slide for the dogs to climb over, so you never worry he’ll be bored. Would highly recommend Nilz - he’s always flexible with me so I can rearrange things if anything changes with work or I have extra family dogs to stay, and he takes great care of Toby! He also always posts pictures of what the dogs have been up to so I can see what he’s been doing and that he’s having fun. More...

Riggs went for his first stay with Nilz and Harley and he loved it! We had been looking for a while for a place we felt completely comfortable leaving him and we couldn't have asked for anything better! Nothing is too much trouble and Harley is fantastic and VERY tolerant putting up with our jumpy 12 month old terrier who wants to play constantly! Nilz and Helen were brilliant at putting our minds at rest that all of Riggs needs would be met and there professional but relaxed approach gave us all we needed to leave Riggs with peace of mind. Nilz, Helen, & Harley were AMAZING with our dog (who isn't exactly the easiest guest)! We were so lucky to have found them. Nilz and Helen took the time to meet with us beforehand and were in contact with us throughout Beans' stay - we loved getting photos and updates. Was a little anxious about leaving our 10 month old Fox red lab anywhere. Needn't have worried as our little Senna felt right at home from the first moment. She was welcomed and fussed straight away. Olly has just had his first stay here and it will not be his last. We always worry about leaving him but with Nilz, Helen and Harley there is no need, it is absolutely fantastic, home from home boarding. Olly was welcomed straight the way into their home and from the photos I have seen, soon made himself at home.

well what can I say, absolutely amazing, from start to finnish. I was very anxious about leaving my little girl lucky, whilst we went on our hols, but I think lucky enjoyed hers as much as we enjoyed ours, we had regular updates and lots of lovely pics, I cannot recommend nilz, helen and Harley enough. ..fantastic!!! and most certainly a continued friendship. Fantastic! What more could be said to describe the home boarding ��. Our much loved Teddy came for 12 days whilst we had our holiday. The update photos and videos on Facebook were a brilliant way of assuring us that he was doing well and having a good time without us. He was settled, loved and played happily with his new doggy friends.
Can't recommend Nilz, Helen and Harley highly enough!! We will be back for another doggy holiday later in the year and the odd day care too.

Our Cockapoo, Ziggy, stayed with Nilz & Harley for ten days while we were away on holiday during October. As Ziggy was only 8 months old, we weren’t comfortable leaving him in kennels. Leaving him with Nilz & Harley turned out to be a very good decision. Photos and videos were posted online every day, so we could see Ziggy on interesting walks, playing with other dogs, generally having a great time and getting lots of cuddles. Nilz also accommodated the fact that Ziggy is crate trained and raw fed. As a result, we were able to fully enjoy our holiday, knowing that Ziggy was enjoying his! We’ll definitely be booking him in again with Nilz and Harley. Absolutely excellent service and value for money. Thoroughly recommended.

My husband and I met Nilz, Helen and Harley on a walk in Burbage Woods with our young puppy Bedlington terrier, Bruce. We liked them instantly. Bruce has had one week boarding so far and we received updates and photos to put our minds at rest while we were away. Bruce was returned home happy healthy and had benefited from the very loving care from Nilz, Helen and Harley. There was an occasion where Bruce was poorly and I was struggling with my confidence to know how to help him (first time dog owner). Nilz and Helen were very supportive and even came to the vets with me which was such a lovely and caring thing to do. I would recommend home boarding your dog(s) with this lovely family because it really shows that they care to provide an enjoyable safe and reassuring time for them. More...

I was so nervous about leaving our dog with a stranger but didn't want him in a kennel. I'm sure he had absolutely more fun with Nilz and Harley than he had at home!
