Nick was our photographer for our engagement shoot last fall and for our wedding this past Spring and did an amazing job!! ! Nick was absolutely great for us. We got married on the 28th of December, 2013. Nick had great ideas for our photos, and did a fabulous job. So many of the pictures turned out well! We have 4000 photos to choose from! He was a real champ too, and came out on the coldest day of the year for our "trash the dress" session - we're the ones with the zombie bride.

My husband and I met Nick Janzen at the 2011 bridal show. We chose Nick over the other photographers we met that day not only because he was the best bang for our buck, but mainly for his creativity. He really is a great photographer! We were so inlove with our engagement shots, that we included all of our favorites in a slideshow at our wedding!
Another thing that we liked about Nick is that he is all about customer satisfaction. After our engagement shoot, we realized that we wanted more close up shots, and without any hesitation, Nick took time out of his busy schedule to meet up with us again to make sure that we got the shot that we were looking for.
At our wedding, he stayed until the very end taking beautiful candid shots of us and all of our guests! You will never receive this kind of service from any other photographer. My husband and I were very pleased with Nick and now that we have a baby, we would love to have Nick take some family shots of us. Hopefully we can set something up in the near future! More...

Nick Janzen is a phenomenal photographer! His number one goal is client satisfaction and he seems to always surpass my expectations! Nick did our engagement shoot as well as our wedding, and he will be doing our trash the dress session as well! Nick was unbelievably patient with us and all of our requests. Nick was our photographer for our engagement and our wedding (August 7th 2015). There really are not enough wonderful words to express how amazingly talented he is! Nick captured every single moment of our day and the love can be felt in ever picture!!!! We are more then thrilled with all of our photos! (And man did he take a lot. This is how he captures each moment in time) Nick has a great artist vision and is very helpful directing when its needed. It was such a pleasure working Nick for our wedding. We had a very small event, 26 people in total including the bride and groom. Nick was very flexible with regards to a package and rate that worked for us. During the actual ceremony and reception I didn't even notice Nick, but he seemed to be right there, because he captured so many pictures, it plays out like a movie when you scroll through. Nick was very easy to work with and did his homework on photo sites. This made the actual day of run smoothly and he was able to walk us through the various ideas he has planned out. With that said, don't be afraid to come with a list of pictures you would like taken, he actually encourages it to ensure you end up with exactly what you want. The final product and edited pictures are phenomenal!

Nick came to my home to photograph my daughters head shots, and he was phenomenal. He went above and beyond during the shoot making her feel very comfortable and confident. We wanted lots of pictures to choose from with a wide variety of poses and outfit changes, and Nick definitely delivered! He is a very creative photographer with very innovative ideas. What a magical day it was and nick captured some of the most breathtaking photos I could have asked for! I found out about Nick on Facebook while searching for photographers or our wedding. Knowing I wanted to invest in our photographer, I was nervous about making the wrong choice. My now husband and I met with Nick and quickly new we wanted to work with him! Nick was really friendly, professional and helpful in answering all our questions. He makes himself available for any questions or concerns you have. We enjoyed working with him on our engagement shoot and he was fantastic on our wedding day! If you are looking for a creative and caring photographer, Nick Janzen is your guy! He stands out from the others with his unique and creative style. He first shot our engagement photos which took a variety of different forms in order to get a feel of what my husband and I liked and what we were expecting for the wedding. Even before I met Nick, I saw his work and talked with his wife. I was completely blown away by his unique style and the art he produced. As we started the process of planning our wedding, we found out it's not so easy finding vendors. However, everything from our first conversation, to engagement photos, to my boudoir shoot and even the big day itself was nothing but easy. He's a very calm presence, who seamlessly got my husband and I to open up in ways we didn't think we would be comfortable in. He wanted us to get the images we had in our head, but as an artist, used us as models to create moments we never thought of capturing. 5 STARS!!! Nick is a terrific photographer! Patricia and I first met him at the 2017 Toronto Bridal Show. He really knows how to make an impression; we were amazed by his eye for colour and his unique editing style. We knew instantly that he was perfect for our wedding - and he did not disappoint. We booked an engagement shoot with him that included multiple location around Toronto. He was accommodating, emphasizing that this was our time to get comfortable for our big day. When that big day arrived, Nick was both a calming presence - keeping us relaxed throughout - and a spark of creativity. When it comes to wedding party filming Nick is like a kid in a candy store - always smiling, dreaming big and open to trying everything. He cleverly orchestrated an unforgettable shoot at Dundas Square that had us posing before running for our lives, and we absolutely adore the photos. UPDATEDI'm updating my review because we have used Nick as our photographer after both our babies were born as well as for our engagement and wedding photos. We would not use anyone else to capture these special and important moments. Our latest photos, taken after my daughter was born literally made me cry- they were so beautiful and captured the love between our two kids and our family so beautifully.
