I stayed a weekend recently at Mallard Cottage.,entered from Gravel drive,onto covered parking area,(housing washing machine and a tumble dryer)all in working order if we needed to use. Lovely welcome and above average Welcome Pack of essentials given F.O.C. upon arrival, unexpected,very thoughtful, It was larger than we thought, well set out, immaculate throughout, Clean fresh linen supplied on all beds, modern bathroom with shower. Lounge area, bright fresh and clean, big colour tele,sky, more than anyone wants on a holiday, and to top it all, patio seating area for outdoor eating, easy walking access into Christchurch and river walks, weekend was not long enough and we will definately book to go back again, quiet,relaxing and yet set in a convenient location. Me and my partner have recently had a short break at Mallard Cottage and found it to be a lovely and relaxing stay - just what we needed! It was like a "home from home". Everything was just how you expect it to be when you are checking in to a holiday home. Lovely cottage and lovely helpful owners too! We will definately be going again! :) More...
