Nick was perfect to work with and not just a paragon of customer service, but also just the sweetest person I have met--like in the history of ever. He was so flexible with the fact that we had to hold on to our karaoke rental over the weekend because we were not having a local wedding, and didn't raise the rate at all, which was completely astonishing. He even didn't bat an eye when we asked him if we could return it a day late (our trip back was delayed). The karaoke equipment was so easy to work with and sounded awesome (no stupid Casio keyboard song renditions here) and we had an awesome selection, disc free! As more people enter the market by purchasing cheap equipment and charging a premium for it, it becomes more difficult to find a quality operation; a quality operation is exactly what you will find with Nick Foster Entertainment.We needed a karaoke system for a surprise birthday party and we decided we needed it with about 2 days notice.  That was no problem for Nick.  He provided us exactly the system that we needed and was there personally to demonstrate the setup when I came to pick up the gear.  Nick has plenty of equipment, and it is all quality.  I have had extensive experience with much of the equipment he uses, and I can tell you that not only is everything top notch, but Nick has planned out the setup of the gear to be seamless, turnkey, and foolproof.  Nick has definitely spent a lot of time and money putting together equipment that will never disappoint.  Obviously, everything worked as promised, and even exceeded our expectations.  Nick is extremely friendly as well as knowledgeable.  He was helpful in ensuring that we had exactly what we needed to really make our party a standout that will be talked about for years to come.I recommend Nick Foster Entertainment for all of your needs, I know that he will provide the same level of service for all aspects of his business.  In fact, I will be using him again in the near future to book a DJ for another important event.Thank you Nick, I look forward to working with you again very soon. i rented a karaoke machine for my mom's 50th birthday, which was really easy through nick. i placed my order and picked it up the day of. he gave me a quick tutorial of how to hook it up and helped me get it into my car. i drive a scion tc and if i can fit all the equipment, anyone should be able to.returning it the following day was easy and the fact that nick was so personable and friendly made the experience that much better. i would definitely use him again! Nick Foster provided us a fantastic karaoke system for my wife's 40th birthday party.  We had never rented a karaoke system before and he made it totally painless.  The equipment was great and the set-up easy. This summer I worked for a high school medical program at Stanford University. Our program is completely run by grants and is free to our amazing participants, which means we run on a tight budget. We wanted to have a talent show for the students and I looked at several places to rent a karaoke machine at a reasonable price. Nick Foster Entertainment had a good price for the Budget Karaoke rental so I called them up. Mr. Foster was very helpful and took the time to explain everything that the package included so that I was aware of what I was purchasing. He told me that the Budget rental may not be the best option for high school students simply because of the smaller song selection and lack of newer songs. However, I couldn't afford anything more than that so we agreed to stay with the Budget rental. The morning I picked up the system Mr. Foster was extremely helpful, he explained very well how to use the system and much to my delight (and surprise) he decided to give me the 10,000+ song library that included the newer songs at no additional cost! I am so grateful for his kindness because the students had a blast with the karaoke machine and it didn't hurt our program budget. Thank you Nick Foster Entertainment! I booked Nick's karaoke elite system for my wedding day, and the rental included an extra mic, sound system and 50 inch flat screen tv with delivery and setup for a very reasonable price.  I received quotes from several other companies for the same services that were far more expensive and had more limited song lists.   If you're looking for a karaoke system rental, save your time and money, and just call Nick.  The karaoke was a hit and there was a song for everyone--definitely worth every dollar.Nick was so friendly and service-oriented despite my frantic-bride phone calls; he really puts you at ease.  One tip though--call instead of emailing, it's much easier.Thank you Nick for making my wedding even more memorable!!! What's great is Nick Foster actually works at Nick Foster Entertainment. It's just not a big name and no face. And he's great! Very charming. Very helpful. I don't think I have ever heard "NO" come out of his mouth. Easy going and will answer any questions you have. This is the 2nd time I have rented Karaoke equipment from him. Everything is easy to use. A lot of songs. Everything I reserved is there. They even help me pack everything into my car. Oh and I love his shop. It's got A LOT of musical equipment and it looks like a stage w/ curtains. And his waiting room is nicely kept and decorated like an entertainer's dressing room. Hey, did I tell you he was an entertainer too and I think a famous one too. At least that's what I think he told me, the first time I ever rented from him. I just remembered  feeling bad, cause I've never heard of him.  But he still DJ's and entertains as well.  That's if you don't want to rent Karaoke systems.  Keep up the Great Work Nick and I will see you again next time I'm in need of a Karaoke System. I've been a guest at Solana's parties the last 4 years and the karaoke equipment has always worked flawlessly. The years we picked up the equipment, it was organized and ready to go. The years Nick delivered it, he set it up and explained how everything works. The SuperStar system is the way to go because you just look up songs, enter the number, and you're on stage. The system with loading CDs is fine, but the SuperStar really keeps the entertainment moving. More...

It's the fourth year in a row that I rent a karaoke machine from Nick Foster for my birthday. SOOO much fun!! Anyway, fun facts aside, the first two years I rented the basic one, and the last two the SuperStar one. With this one, you enter the song numbers digitally, as opposed to loading CDs. It makes a huge difference. Nick dropped it off as well the last two years, and it was also great because he made sure everything was installed perfectly. Same when he picked it up. I found Nick Foster via google when looking for a karaoke system for a work event, and it was meant to be, just down the road from us and with a system available on short notice.  We got the cheapest tv-included option and it was PLENTY good to entertain us for two days!  We weren't quite ready for how legit it would be--we were expecting a little box and a song book, but this was the real deal.  When we called to see if we could get it for a second day they let us have it free since we were a local biz too :-)  So much fun, but it definitely ruined our ability to enjoy Lips karaoke on Xbox at home ;-) More...

I found Nick Foster when searching to rent karaoke equipment for my husband's birthday party.  We were super pleased at the high quality of the equipment.  It was professional and our karaoke experience was perfect.  This is a great deal if you want to really have a quality experience.  The only reason I'm not giving him 5 stars is because he charges $150 for delivery of the equipment from Burlingame to Oakland which I think is ridiculous (we were able to enlist a friend to help us get the equipment out of the car).Otherwise, Nick is a nice and professional guy. If you are ever having a get together with a bunch of people and you would like to ham it up, RENT A KARAOKE SYSTEM. Nothing makes a party as memorable as seeing Aunt Judy half gassed singing Fleetwood Mac songs. If you decide that this seems like an awesome idea for your next gathering, call these guys. They are super accomodating, and you can either pick up your unit to save moolah, or they will deliver it for you. It super easy to hook up and you can even hook it up to your big screen tv to make it that much more fun.  Nick Foster Entertainment has a pretty huge library of tunes, so thats cool, something for everyone, and also if your lucky, Nick Foster himself will come and set it up for you. Nick is a consummate service provider.  He made renting a standalone, professional grade karaoke system completely simple for our big party this past weekend.  He arrived a few minutes early and brought the big rig up the one flight of stairs.  He set it up, gave us a run through on how to control it, and then impressed us with a Grade-A karaoke rendition of a Neil Diamond tune.  Nick seems to love his job!He also made it very simple for us post-party:  he arranged with the management of the venue to come pick it up the next morning so we did not have to be there.  Fantastic service, great equipment and song selection.  I belted out an even dozen tunes, and the rig helped me sound good while doing it.  My buddies are in awe (more or less...).  As good as it gets!
