Hello My name is Nick Cann, I have bin a certified personal trainer here in Santa Rosa since 2015. In that time i have bin lucky enough to learn from some of the greatest minds in fitness and have bin able to use that knowledge to help dozens of others reach there health and fitness goals.

Thank you so much for your training guidance, Nick Cann of Nick Cann Fitness. I'm seeing results from your very enjoyable, very doable training! Climbing stairs -- the increasing difficulty with which is what prompted me to seek your help -- is definitely getting easier. The cool thing about Nick's training is his philosophy. He doesn't try to turn couch potatoes (like me) into Arnold Schwarzeneggers. His goal is to accomplish the doable, to help you get the best possible functionality out of the body you've got. My body is 75 years old, but working on your cross-country skiing machine brought back muscle memories (brain memories too!) of the real cross country skiing I used to do in my 30s. Going to the gym doesn't have to be torture. With Nick, it's rewarding. Nick has accomplished the near-impossible: an attitude shift (my attitude, that is) every bit as significant as the changes I'm feeling in my overall fitness. I have been training with Nick twice a week for 2 months and I am excited every day to see him. He has new workouts for me each day and has thoroughly taught me how to use each machine, free weight, ball, mat, rope, strap, and roller. His knowledge of the body is great and being a massage therapist I appreciate the in-depth discussions we have about muscles and tendons. He has helped me to gain a better understanding of what exercises help certain injuries. He's an excellent resource and an even better trainer. He's patient, motivating, and inspiring. Since I have started training with Nick I have seen improvements in myself physically, and with his motivation on top of mine I keep pushing to better my well being. Extremely helpful when it comes to learning how to properly use equipment and what muscle group/s you are working with. Would definitely recommend him as my personal trainer to anyone. More...

Nick is an exceptional trainer! He is 100% engaged, tough but encouraging and truly knows his stuff. The sessions are hard but fun and keep me interested and wanting to come back. Envirofit gym is the most positive inclusive friendly and supportive place I have ever found.

Total win on all fronts.

Ive been training with Nick for 8 months now.

What a brilliant and fun man to train with and what fantastic results.

Nick has an exceptional innate sense of where his client is each session. And where they want and need to go. Nick never over trains.

Nick identified all my non functional weaknesses and moved each one out. Now I am well on my way to getting stronger and stronger.

Nick is the best thing that happened to my life in 2017 and I can't wait till tomorrow to get started on 2018.

When I started my journey with Nick, I had the typical goals in mind - to lose weight and get toned. While he has always kept my goals in mind he has also made sure that I build my strength and aerobic fitness. Nick is great at pin pointing where my weaknesses are so that we can improve on them. This is one of the most valuable things to me. Anyone who is looking for a workout that is specifically designed for their body and wants to have fun doing it will love training with Nick! More...

Nick is the most knowledgeable, tough, encouraging and dedicated fitness trainer I’ve ever had. Before I wasn’t able to do one push-up, was scared of deadlifts, especially squats, and really didn’t know what exactly to work on when entering a gym. On a good day I can do 10 proper pushups, dead lift 115lbs (and those numbers will increase) and absolutely love doing squats. I recommend him to anyone who is up for a challenge and wanting to better themselves. This is the best decision I’ve ever made, thank you Nick so much for instilling confidence, perseverance and overall strength. After all, success doesn’t come from what you do occasionally. Nick Cann is LEGIT. I did his 3 month program, and looking back to where I first started is mind-blowing. From not being able to do any pushups on my toes, to doing 3 sets of 8 and then some, not being able to deadlift to deadlifting 125. Learning how to front squat, back squat, use kettlebells etc. He didn't just motivate me ,but taught me to motivate myself because I am capable of doing difficult workouts and although I won't always increase the weight, I can always increase the reps. I'm so grateful to have had him as a personal trainer he will push you and you will get results if you put in the work and effort. Thank you Nick!! LET DEM MUSCLES GROW More...

Because each client is so different in there goals, body types, and personalities, no one plan works for everyone. So the first thing i do is find out exactly what it is you want to achieve. from there we do a simple assessment to see where your fitness level is at and if you have any muscle imbalances that need to be corrected. If everything looks good from there we begin with a simple strength training plan to build your basic strength and understanding of the movements, From there i will create a personalized plan to help you reach whatever goals we have set together.

most people want to here me tell them that there is some magic pill or special workout that's going to give them the results over night. The truth to the matter is that there are 3 simple steps to reaching whatever fitness goals you want. Train hard, Eat right, Sleep well and repeat. You do those 3 things and you will see results.

All i want is to help people feel better and realize there full potential so when one of my athletes comes in after a couple months of hard work and they finally begin to see the results themselves, Its like meeting a whole new person. There confidence is higher,there motivation is greater and they are overall happier. It gives me a sense of purpose

I have always had a passion for fitness and i enjoy having an opportunity to help others in life. Personal training has given me the chance to do both.

I am always there to help my athletes whether its needing a quick workout idea while there on vacation or just some general questions about equipment and exercise. a lot of trainers think the job is done as soon as you leave the gym but i know that it's just the beginning.
