I've never really been one for fitness or to get trim... I'd rather a bag of crisps... but after training with Nick he changed this and made getting fit soo much fun. Boxing and varied circuits have help me fight my jiggle and that Bikini Body is well on its way and it's all thanks to him and a lot of commitment. Can't recommend him enough. More...

My name is Nick Batchelor, and I will be your mentor through your journey. I have a number of years experience within the sport and fitness industry, starting out in traditional Japanese Shotokan Karate at a very young age, and training along side England internationals and top class Karate-Ka from the beginning. I now have the rank of 2nd Dan Black belt, and various qualifications within the fitness industry, including;

Well this could be the plan for you! Log into your hub and we will supply you with all the tools you need to achieve your goals...all you need to supply is hard work and dedication.     We will send you daily workout plans based on your goals, complete with full instructional videos. Download the app and access your workouts right on your smartphone or tablet. You will receive daily suggested nutrition plans, complete with shopping lists. You can also log the food you eat as you go and keep track of your calories consumed. Use the results tracker to track your body stats! All you need is a body tape measure and calipers. Record your body measurements on a monthly basis and keep track of your progress. This will also calculate your body fat percentage. Use the results tracker to not only track your body stats but also track your performance! Track distance covered during cardio, weight lifted during resistance training, and time spent training. This package will provide you with a comprehensive assessment of your current fitness level. It will highlight any areas that you may need to work on, and give you an indication of how many calories you should be consuming.  It may also flag up health areas of concern. We will assess your VO2 max (Cardiovascular fitness: the amount of oxygen your body can consume and use) We will tell you your BMI (Body mass index: Height in relation to weight) We will calculate you BMR (Basil Metabolic Rate: How many calories your body needs to function) We will assess and catagorise your muscular endurance.   We will calculate your maximum heart rate, and calculate your beats per minute for various percentages of your maximum heart rate. Using the RPE scale (rate of perceived exertion) which we will also provide you, you can use those percentages when planning the intensity of your cardiovascular exercise.  We will calculate your body fat percentage. We will assess your hip-waist ratio (the more abdominal fat you have in relation to hip circumference, the greater your chance of obesity and cardiovascular disease). We will do a CHD/CAD Risk Profile with you: This will be in the form of a questionnaire and will indicate if you are at risk of Coronary Heart Disease or Coronary Artery Disease.  For people experienced in resistance work only, we can assess your muscle strength (1 rep max). Will also give you a blood pressure test. We will assess your flexibility. Available for £35.00

The link between good nutrition and healthy weight, reduced chronic disease risk, and overall health is too important to ignore. By taking steps to eat healthy, you'll be on your way to getting the nutrients your body needs to stay healthy, active, and strong. As with physical activity, making small changes in your diet can go a long way. The simple fact of the matter is: If you don't eat according to your fitness goals, you wont achieve them. No matter what training plan you have, you can't out train a bad diet. We will calculate your BMR (Basil Metabolic Rate): This is the number of calories your body needs to function. We will then assess your fitness goals, body type, body weight, age, gender, and daily general activity levels, and establish an appropriate daily calorie amount for you. Macronutrients are the three basic compounds of your diet that are needed in large amounts. They consist of protein, fats (or lipids), and carbohydrates (or CHO). They all have an important, but very different role to play within the body.  The percentage split of each of these in your diet has a large influence on you reaching your fitness goal. We will calculate an appropriate split based on your goals. We will then produce a suggested 7 day meal plan for you based on the results we have calculated for you, complete with recipes, cooking instructions and even shopping lists. If you have any eating restrictions, that's not a problem, just inform us on the consultation form that we send you, and we will make sure they are not included. Equally if you have any favourite foods, inform us of those too and we will try to include them. We always work towards recommended guidelines, and all our calculations are based on healthy changes in weight over a specific period. We will inform you of the  time frame you will be working in, and when you should expect to reach your target. Your goals should always be SMART: Specific, measurable, achievable, realistic, and time orientated.   All plans are produced by a REPs registered Personal Trainer, and are suggested and not prescriptive.
