I live in Wolverhampton where I work as a self employed Meditation Teacher working in schools with both individuals and groups, teaching personal health and wellbeing through emotional management and self confidence skills. These skills reduce disruptive behaviour, self harm and improve exam results through all age ranges.
I grew up in the sunny town of Walsall, went to Queen Mary Grammar School, Derby University and then worked in London for the first two years of my career.
I worked for Social Services for many years, then as an Addictions Counsellor for a well known charity in the Midlands and now practice as a Personal Development Trainer.
I also see individual clients at my home, I offer home visits as well as Skype, Email and Telephone support for people wanting to overcome anxiety and depression.
I also lead regular monthly meditation day retreats at Westhope College in Shropshire where the focus is on you experiencing deep states of relaxation while discovering your preferred personal meditation style. You experience 6 different meditation styles throughout the day, beginning at 10am and finishing at 4pm. The meditations include techniques for pain relief, freedom from fear anxiety and depression, the self healing power of your body and mind and mindfulness skills practice. My techniques are drawn from both ancient and modern scientifically proven methods and do not involve any religious teaching.
