I cannot recommend Nicholas Hill Photography enough! A wedding is not easy to plan and often things go wrong, we had a nightmare with the venue decorators but our photos from our wedding are perfect. From our first meeting with Nick everything was so easy and straight forward, the hardest thing was deciding what we wanted! We had our engagement shoot which was included in our package and were very grateful for this as we aren't supermodels. I've never thought of myself as photogenic but I loved all my wedding photos and all my guests have commented on how beautiful the photos are. Anyone can take a photo but Nick captures a memory. When looking for a wedding photographer we wanted someone who captured the essence of the day, and to document those precious moments you want to nurture forever, once the wedding day is over. When we found Nick we knew instantly by the style of his photos and approach that we wanted him to cover our day. Nick prepared himself before the day by us visiting the venue and discussing the photographic opportunities and style.We got married at Cooling Castle on 11th May 2014, as soon as Nick arrived at the house for the bridal preparations he immediately settled in and just became part of the day without imposing, and this created the beautiful natural photo results we wanted to achieve. Nick’s 2nd photographer Ed was also amazing and captured some great photos of the arrival of guests, and he immediately put Mark at ease whilst having his photo taken before the ceremony. We got some great images here. The 2 nd photographer really does present you with a full portfolio of the day including your guest relaxing, and having fun throughout the whole day and evening, which is wonderful to look back on as you miss so much on the day.The ceremony photos are all done with the natural light which has produced soft romantic images without us even noticing the photographer’s presence at this intimate time.We have a huge selection of photos from our day and evening which tell a wonderful story, which has caught the true mood of the day! We could not have been happier. The only difficult job was to choose which photos to have in the album, but Nick helped us create a wonderful album which tells the story of our wonderful wedding day. All our guests commented how fantastic both Nick and Ed were on the day and also the on the final results!
