Working with Niche Creative for the first time-proved a very pleasant and totally fulfilling experience. Paul Rumball was accomodating in every way-working to a tight programme. ..delivering my project on time and on budget. Paul has a friendly and accomodating attitude to his work...and is truly intuitive and creative in his approach to any challenges put before him. Above all he has shown modesty , honesty and integrity in equal measure. I would not hesitate using his services again. More...

Graphic Design

Excellent. Paul was very helpful I cannot recommend highly enough

Paul from Niche is redesigning and rebuilding our College website and brand. The website certainly needed doing as our current website is very outdated and amateur looking! Paul brought some great design ideas to the table quickly which were enthusiastically approved by the senior management team. He has also suggested some fabulous design ideas which we are currently working on with him and look forward to the launch of our new site over the next few months. Paul is a very talented and creative designer. He has a wealth of ideas which will significantly benefit our College and I am sure many other organisations design ideas. He adopts a ‘can do’ attitude and has been nothing but friendly, available and approachable in his dealings with us. I highly recommend him for any organisation looking to rebrand and/or redesign its website. A well deserved five stars! More...

Logo Design

Absolutely fantastic experience with Paul.

I am new to Bark and needed a logo & business cards for my new company website. From the start, Paul seemed to know exactly what I wanted as he drafted the first design within a few hours and with little to no tweaks I ended up with a design that I was overwhelmed with.

Communicated was excellent, he responded very quickly to emails and offered to chat over the phone multiple times but as I was away, emailing was more convenient.

I believe Paul engages you on a personal rather than business level and I have enjoyed working with him and hope to work with him again in the future.

I have engaged Niche for several years now and have always found Paul to be helpful, efficient, cost effective and creative.
Whatever I've thrown at him, Paul has always responded in a timely way with an excellent interpretation of the brief.
It's not easy to justify an 'outstanding' rating, but I have rarely received such friendly and efficient service from a designer.

Q&As

The biggest hurdle is a full and open brief. These bark briefs can be limiting, and I would urge all prospective buyers, to think about what you want, your requirements and your business needs and relay as much detail into them as possible. Professionals will only be prepared to pay for your contact details if they think there is a reasonable chance of success. Thin, vague, unclear or unsure requirements will only be skipped over.

Helping new businesses get their first foot on the ladder with strong branding and creative assistance. People have a vision for their new business, my job is to give it every chance of success by delivering effective creative at a budget they can afford. It can be a minefield and so easy to get pulled into poor advice and waste money before you realise it.

I have been fortunate to have worked with many agencies for many years and gained a huge amount of experience and knowledge and been integral in many agency startups. In 2008 I was made redundant, and I figured it was my time to give it my best shot and go alone. 10 years later, I am still here and enjoying it more every year.
