Thank you Sarah. We recently held a very special tea party for our mother’s 90th birthday and it was a wonderful event thanks to Sarah Singleton and Nibilicious! The tables were set up beautifully with cloths, flowersband balloon centrepieces and the room looked lovely. The food was excellent and beautifully presented. It was perfection plus. Sarah and her son’s were gracious and patient with our getting under foot in the kitchen. I would highly recommend Nibilicios to anyone looking for a caterer with that extra touch. Sarah saved me so much time and stress by catering for my 25th Wedding Anniversary at home. She helped create a menu to my budget and my guests' tastes, and made a pre-party visit to discuss plans and serving etc. She arrived promptly on the day and set up the hot and cold buffet beautifully, leaving my kitchen and oven immaculate. I felt so under control (for a change!) I could focus on getting ready and then enjoy chatting to my guests as they arrived. The portions were very generous and everyone said how much they enjoyed the food, particularly the brioche sliders. Sarah put together a gorgeous menu for my son's christening party at a village hall. I lost track of the number of guests who congratulated me on the tasty food and brilliant service (we loved the asparagus tart and harissa salmon). It all looked and tasted fabulous, generous portions and made with love. Best of all, Sarah and her staff were super-friendly, relaxed and organised, leaving me free to focus on my guests (and eating!). What’s your signature dish?
I can cook anything you want me to, from beautiful canapes through amazing 'naked cakes' adorned with fresh flowers - and everything in between. I like to keep things simple, focusing on fresh, local and seasonal ingredients to give maximum flavour with minimum fuss.
How do you go about creating the perfect menu for your clients?
I always like to meet up with you first to discuss your special occasion in detail so that I can get an idea of what you like (and don't like), the type of occasion you're planning and your budget. That way I can put together menus that are perfect for the occasion.
What do you love most about your job?
Reading cookbooks and food magazines as part of my job and making my clients happy through creating lovely food for their guests.
What inspired you to start your own business?
A simple desire to get off the corporate treadmill, stop commuting and working stressful long hours and do something I love that fits around me and my family. Cooking!
