Incredible venue! The space has adjustable LED lighting, a great sound system, and plenty of wall space to hang up paintings and photography. Was the perfect environment for an album listening party. Booking went smoothly, and someone was on site to supervise and help throughout the night. highly recommended for a wide range of event needs! More...

This is quite a lovely meeting space for up to about 80 people. The managers will set up tables and chairs to a configuration that suits the lessee, and there is full audio visual along with a stage and large screen for projecting. A refrigerator keeps the beverages and food items cold.Possibly more trash cans would be useful. Unfortunately there isn't a sink for rinsing serving items, but this can be worked around. Ah. What can I say. I threw my husband his 30th birthday here last weekend and everyone loved the venue! It's all around great! The ambience was amazing I didnt even have to put a lot of decorations because it was already really pretty. It was easy to deal with the management and their staff was really cool as well. I love how they have an ice dispenser, a water dispenser, and fridge available for use. The only thing that could have improved this experience was if they had AC or more fans. It was a party and with the hot berkeley summer, ick! Nonetheless, all of my guests had fun and they kept giving me compliments about the place! Will definitely book again if needed! More...

The staff was extremely accommodating. Upon arrival, they gladly checked in our bags and had us situated in a room an hour early of check-in (enough time to walk around and tour beautiful Golden Gate Park!).

Great place to have any event and it was so open with beautiful exposed brick walls. Looks like it can fit 80 to 100 people comfortably and it the space is so modern that it turn your event into the talk of the town.

We rented this place for our family Christmas party and it was beautiful! The staff (we worked with Patrick) was extremely accommodating, friendly and hung out next door and out of sight but were still very accessible to us should we need them. We were able to have full use of the kitchenette which included a large refrigerator and double sink and multiple of their beautiful wood tables for food service. We were also given full access to their sound system and an iPad for Christmas music. This also include an elevated screen to show our photo slideshow. And a microphone to make ourselves better heard.As a photographer, I was completely taken by the urban yet rustic feel of the venue. The brick coupled with the wooden tables throughout beautiful. I am a wedding planner and I just did a wedding here. The space is beautiful. It's got really nice brick walls, great lighting for events, nice greenery around the space, beautiful wooden tables, and art on the walls. You really don't need to add much in terms of decor. The people running the space were also great to work with and very helpful. They are flexible with a lot of stuff and they are also able to provide many things, which can save on rentals. More...

We hosted a welcome party (around 80 people) the evening before our wedding at Neyborly Poet's Corner. The space was a great fit for our event. It's a large, welcoming, and versatile space with beautiful furniture. As far as the East Bay goes, it's easy to get to, even for out-of-towners. We had a big potluck dinner and brought in our own alcohol, and we were so thrilled to find a place like this that would allow us to bring in and serve our own food and beverages. Ben was easy to work with and everything went smoothly day of. We didn't discover this place until after we booked our wedding venue, but Neyborly would also be an excellent place to host a wedding reception. My company had our launch party at Neyborly - Poet's Corner earlier this month and we could not have been more thrilled. The space is beautiful, flexible, and set up for you to host a great party. They have everything you need in house, including an incredible sound system (which is super rare). The owners are incredibly helpful, friendly, and professional, and helped us with many aspects of the event. They provided Ice/a fridge/Sound System, and great lighting for the space (all free of charge). Â You can even rent a sweet photo-booth for way less than it could cost to hire an outside vendor. If you are considering this venue for your event, I highly recommend contacting them soon as they are beginning to fill up (especially on weekends). More...
