Was sucha a nice day to go watch the Texans game. We settled for this bar and it was quite the adventure. Food was good but very overpriced. Same with drinks. Everything was quite on the pricey side for a bar. We had a good time though so I guess it was worth it. My only complaint was service. Our waitress seems to keep forgetting things we've ordered or never really checked back. We had to wave her down quite often. But overall, I still enjoyed the food and ambience here. Super cute place! I've only been once and though it was pretty empty, enjoyed the ambiance and definitely see the potential for it to be a busy spot. We went on a Sunday for a Texans game expecting others to be there for the same reason, but nope!You can enter NextDoor through their entrance that faces Hungry's or by actually walking through Hungry's. We only ordered a drink and an appetizer but their drink menu had a lot of good options and you have the option or ordering from them or Hungry's so definitely a plus.I'll have to pay it another visit to try more food options. We live within walking distance of this place and given how good their Happy Hour and drinks are, that is a good thing! For how often we go, I'm embarrassed to not have any food or drink pic's to post, but we have never been disappointed with either. Whether you order from the bar bites menu or ask for the full menu from Hungry's next door, everything is great! We've had everything from the pizza, gyro's, salads with salmon or chicken, kabobs, sandwiches and it is all great. We go at least once per week and the staff is awesome - very attentive and accommodating. Really nothing negative to say except that access can be challenging with the construction on Memorial, but they are rapidly making progress on this stretch so that should change soon. More...

I decided to sit at the bar since I came alone. I think the bar will be my spot from know on. The staff was very attentive.  The crab cake bites are as good as the benedict I had for brunch. The Mac n cheese surprised me because the pasta is orzo, but one bite and you do not miss the regular pasta. I love the low key vibe of this place. I went to Hungry's the week before but took my dad her last weekend so he could watch sports while enjoying a great brunch. The food and strawberry mimosa were wonderful as always. Typically they are really slow when they open which is nice, but they become an overflow to Hungry's sometimes and I think the wait staff isn't quite trained on the fast/unexpected influx of people. One of the better bars in the memorial/energy corridor area for a date or after work. Happy hour isn't the best but it cuts a few dollars off. If you get hungry the bar is connected to a resteraunt so that you can order. Service has always been great. More...

Atmosphere: this was a nice bar I went in on a Tuesday evening to watch the Astros game. Came here for a Happy Hour get together after work. There is currently construction going on in this area so the roads are a little rough, be careful when turning into this place! There is ample parking in the back as the front has reserved spots for their valet service. I got a Moscow Mule as it was their Monday special drink for $7. It tasted pretty good once you squeeze the lime and mix everything up! I also ordered the crab cake bites; we clarified with the waitress that while it was offered for $8 on th HH menu, it was still the same size as what's listed on the regular menu. It came out and I was a little confused, just because it was advertised as "jalapeño mac & cheese," however, the pasta itself was orzo (unexpected) and it didn't taste like a regular mac and cheese dish. Crab cakes weren't bad but a bit mushy and obviously filled with more bread crumbs and herbs than crab. It is what it is--for $8 I will take it! We were here for Happy Hour Sunday for drinks and to watch the Astros and loved it. Great atmosphere - laid back, but nice at the same time. Had a few craft beers (good selection on tap) and a Froze (quite addicting). Stayed later than planned and got hungry - the bar bite menu is good, but we wanted something more substantial and were happy to hear that you can order from Hungry's next door. This place was packed when I went for happy hour on Thursday!! They have the Ghost in the Machine double IPA from a Louisiana as part of their TX draft beer specials, a big plus on my book. My friend and I sat at the bar ordering pizza & drinks. The frosé, Bellini & Paloma were all delicious. We were there for a couple of hours and noticed the place cleared pretty much after the specials were over. That is their biggest selling point and it does not disappoint. This place provides an amazing environment, food and drinks. We came here to watch game 1 of the Rockets vs Warriors. The bar is a seat yourself so if you ever walk in and no one is quick to help don't be dramatic lol . .just grab a seat and someone will be with you. The domestic and alcohol options are pretty common but they do have some custom drinks to experiment and step of your zone and try it. The nachos were amazing and really fresh. The Brussels sprouts were Amazing too!! I don't know what the sauce is but it was crispy and smooth all at the same time. We will defiantly be back to try different menu options. More...

Happy Hour on a Friday with the CG crew.  Great spot!   Beautiful. Every bar drink is photo-worthy. Green Garden. Grapefruit Spritz. Froze. Order a Froze!  The Happy Hour Bites are all delicious. Mini crab cakes the size of thumper marbles on a bed of the best mac-n-cheese. Pepperoni and mushroom pizza - cracker crust topped generously.   Artichoke dip served with tortilla chips. Amanda took great care of us and was more than capable of handling a group of CG campers.   The road out front is part of a never ending construction situation. It's best to turn into Hungry's entrance. Plenty of parking in the back of the restaurant and a walkway between Next Door and Hungry's can be accessed from there.  Enjoy. More...

HEADS UP! This is a 2-in-1 spot, same property/business, two sides w/ different names. I came for the NextDoor Happy Hour but not realizing I sat on the Hungry's side. THE DIFFERENCE?!: The Happy Hour prices are only valid on the NextDoor side.The atmosphere is very chill, lovely interior, their tenderloin tacos and Froze's are EVERYTHING .I just moved to this side of town and glad I stumbled upon this spot. *Arnold Schwarzenegger voice* I'll be back ... for brunch! Always looking for a local feeling personal place for food and drink when visiting the energy corridor. This place/ Hungry’s (they are attached) is a repeat visit for me due to its very well done menu, beer connoisseur approved local beer list, and comfortable environment. I really like this bar! They have plenty of drink options and a good happy hour.  It's a sports bar with a cool vibe. Its one of my go to bars when I'm in town. Definitely give this place a try.
