Ah here we go, a good old fashioned locally owned independent sit down pizza place.  The large combo was $20 just like it said at on the menu.   They said it would take 25 minutes to come out and it took 33.   That's close enough.   The pizza was excellent.  Staff was friendly, place was clean and has games for kids like a much more peaceful version of Chuck E. The people who complained about paper plates. Yeah. Keep telling yourself that. After you verbally harrassed the staff and made the kids super upset. Mine included. Your kids stole from other kids and you tried to fight the child at the register. People in your party were rude and just plain awful. You used the salad bar as your own personal buffet that you didn't pay for and got mad after being called out on it. The staff handled themselves great and made a great Pizza. They were as accommodating as they could be but nothing says they have to give your free anything. You guys all carried on like babies who didnt get their way. Hope you teach your children better in the future and maybe not drink 3 pitchers of beer between like 5 adults and then drive them home. I hope that you learn to behave in public you jackass. I have to start by saying that I haven't been here since it was DK's, so I was a little sad to began with because we had many DK memories. But I've been wanting to give them a try, so my mom and dad were in town & we decided to have a pizza night! There was a lot of open space because many of the old games were gone, so that was a bummer, but they did have a few left! I'm not sure what the exact situation was but they weren't able to give us cash to get tokens so my dad ran to Wal-Mart since the kids were super excited to play games. The pizza was good, I have no complaints! The service was fine, nothing extra ordinary, nothing bad, so so. This place makes some good pizza i just got a pickup through GrubHub and it went very smooth the pizza was hot even though I was a little bit late they kept it warm the workers were all nice and make sure I was good with everything which I was pleasant atmosphere and the all meat carnivore Pizza that's scarf down before I even made it home lol

My boyfriend and I tried New York Pizza Pie place one night and was pleasantly surprised. The next visit we had the opportunity of speaking with the owner, he is very prideful of the pizza and place, he was a pleasure to speak too. It's a nice place to take kids and watch the game while they play! The pizzas are great, they are a little more on the greasy side but the flavor is there! Friday night is pizza night around our house so we decided to change it up and order from somewhere new. We had read other Yelp reviews and heard from various folks, that New York Pizza Pie had pretty darn good pizza so we thought what the heck, lets try it! We weren't disappointed that's for sure! We ordered a large combination pizza and some garlic cheesy bread and it was delivered to our house in a timely fashion. The pizza was piping hot and it was sure yummy! Really fresh ingredients and we loved that the sauce tasted like homemade sauce, good stuff! The garlic cheese breadsticks were super cheesy and yummy as well, all in all a great dinner. Excellent customer service and the owner was more than helpful. He provides halal meat for the Muslim crowd and keeps it very organized and clean from the front to the kitchen. (It's open so you can see it all) the games are all newer and updated, the seating area is very clean and it's a great place for a small party. Pretty cool pizza placeThis place has changed ownership hella times. The one thing that is consistent is the pizza is always really good here. Since the renaming from DK pizza this place has reduced the number of games. Which is ok cause most of em did not work anyways.The chicken here is halal if that is your thing. The rest of the meat is not.Not the chicken pizza with jalepeno added. Its good. Not the terikyaki chicken one before and that wad great also. What can I say? I came in with my daughter on Father's Day for the first time and I was amazed. Right when you walk in the door you get that pleasant smell of good pizza, unlike other pizza places in town this one is very clean and has a great atmosphere. The employees are very attentive and very polite. My daughter and I walked up to the salad bar to see one if not the freshest salad bar in town. Literally every thing is neat and fresh he produce and the arrangement of the salad bar had me very happy since I love eating salads with my pizza. We ordered a build your own pizza and this is what I was most pleased about. As I was playing arcade games with my daughter the lady in the front came over to let us know that our pizza was ready and that they had placed it in our table. We walked up to the table to one of the best presentation of pizza I had seen in a while. The taste is something I cannot describe to you that my friends is something you will have to find out on your own, because no words do justice to that pizza quality we received that beautiful day. Needles to say my 7 year old and myself finished a whole large pizza by ourselves. We were truly stuffed. This pizza place is one if not the best pizza in town in my opinion. If I could compare it to a chain I would say Steve's pizza and pizza guys are among the same margin as this restaurant, but the hospitality that cannot be compared. Ordered delivery and arrived on time according to the time they told me. Opened up the boxes and everything looked sooooo good. The wings where still steaming, that made them look even more mouth watering. The pizza was amazing and loved the little crunch to the crust. My husband enjoyed very much the garlic cheesy bread sticks,  you can taste bits of garlic which made the breadsticks very flavorful. We will very much be ordering from here again. The pizza is absolutely delicious. My favorite is the classic pepperoni. I went in for the lunch buffet and it was mostly empty, but the pizza still came out fast and hot. The salad bar on the other hand is a bit disappointing in its limiting selection, but still carried most of the basics.Some of the decor could use some updating like the chairs and tables. I was quite surprised by this hidden pizza place. My husband and I went here for dinner one night. We ordered half combo with no pineapple and have with; yeah that is me, the pineapple person. Our  pizza was really tasty. The crust is on the thinner side, which I like. There are several places I will go to for the taste and some I go to for the price. This is one of the tastier places. The price a little high. It's compatible with Steve's and Roundtable and  just as good. I have gone back for their lunch buffet and that was reasonably priced as well. The salad bar is not too impressive. If you like a plain salad with no flavor then I guess it would be okay for you. I love my salads with tons of color and options. I hope this business survives. Unfortunately it is in a bad location. It is outside the Woodland down Mall (aka Flea Market). Sometimes a business can survive a bad location, but not sure this one will. The both times I have gone the place is nearly empty. The do have other items on the menu. Pasta, wings bread sticks,, but I have not tried any of those. The restaurant is set up with games on one side. Kind of like a very small version of Chuckie Cheese. It looks like a good place to have a children's party.  I will definitely be going back. More...

Since we are fairly new to Woodland we have been trying the restaurants. I Yelped Pizza, and New York Pizza Pie has good ratings. So we looked at the pics, and the food looked really good!! So, New York Pizza Pie it is for our Friday night treat! When we arrived we were pleasantly surprised how clean it was!!!!! While we waiting for our pizza, we played some of their games!!! Fun!!! And all their arcade machines worked!!!!When we took our pizza and bread sticks to the car, it smelled soooooo good, I had to taste their breadsticks!! Yummy!!!!! Cheesy, Ranchy, and Garlicy!!!!!!! I saw the signage on Gibson and promised myself I'd stop next time I'm through Woodland. The restaurant space is small given the majority of the space is given to play area; much like Chucky Cheese. They have basketball, Skee ball, and a good number of arcade games and a motorcycle ride game, that I was envious of the small child on it. The playroom was large seemingly up to ten kids could play at once and they even have a ticket counter with prizes. Great idea for parents to bring kids or coaches to bring teams. That said, the dining area is small in comparison to the play room. I saw one large table seating maybe six and several smaller tables; which I sat at one of them. In my opinion the dining room area looked as though it would get crowded if a team and family of more or less number of people as the team. I guess it's "cozy small family style". Ok, that said on to the good part: the pizza!Well, being from the Big Apple, I'm constantly on search of authentic NYC style pizza. This place wins!! I gave up searching believing California shouldn't have to have New York style pizza, then came Mr Prince, oh yeah, he admits he hales from Queens. And I'm so glad he brought his love for the pie with him. I shook his hand as he has made me glad! Ok the goody: First, to test the validity of a good pie, you get cheese only. Toppings are distracting. Second, a good pie should be so piping hot, you burn your tongue. Mr Prince wins! The slice was steaming. Third, the crust. Ok it's really hard to authenticate that element; and yes it makes the pie. I'm giving grace because though the crust missed the mark on crunch, I'm giving him a 9 because Mr Prince brought his A game with taste. Also, with such generous portions, and the correct diameter of cut; I could fold my slice it to a triangle, (another authentic move), and witness the magnificent flow of 'cheese-grease'. I'm getting hungry just thinking about it. The sauce: good amount of tang and sweet and thick enough to hold up under the hot cheese and marry well with the crust. The cheese: New York mice would move to Woodland if they knew Mr Prince moved their cheese. The degree of pull and string signifies Mr Prince uses real mozzarella. Yippee!! He applies generous portions of cheese so the slice is just slightly weighty. My first bite was a delicate dance of' ooh! this is hot and yum this is good'. I applaud Mr Prince for bringing to Woodland, Mother Universe's favorite food Always Imitated, Never Duplicated; until now, New York Pizza. I would give 100 stars if I could. Just placed our first order and everything was fabulous. You get a choice of thin, regular or thick crust. We got the thick crust it was really good, best pizza sauce also. Chicken wings were really flavorful and meaty. We had a slight issue when charged but the owner called me and was sincerely apologetic and went above and beyond to make it right. We will definitely be back! More...
