What do you love most about your job?
I am passionate about mental health and I truly enjoy the experience of meeting every new person and hearing their unique story and experiences. While it is difficult to see people in a place where they are struggling, I have the privilege of being in an objective space and seeing the seeds of resilience and strength. That is exactly where the change and growth starts. I teach new skills but I also uncover what each person already has within them.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I have worked in mental health for almost 20 years. I’ve worked in various settings —rehabilitation, treatment homes, community mental health, and hospital. But my goal has always been to work in private practice where there is the utmost flexibility for clients and and the ability to broaden my work.
Why should our clients choose you?
I understand and appreciate that beginning therapy is not an easy step for many. You will find me to be relaxed and informal while using evidence-based approaches. I believe it’s important for you to feel a genuine rapport with your therapist - and if you don’t feel that connection I will do my best to support you in finding the right match. What I do promise is that I will meet you exactly where you are right now and work alongside you toward your goals.
