Oriel Hall is located close to the centre of Larkhall and has some parking. In the building itself there are several rooms which can be hired. The kitchen is a large area with its own freezer, fridge and dishwasher. There is also plenty of crockery. I would strongly recommend this for various types of functions. More...

Lovely modern building with all facilities included. Only slight problem is the very small car park however street parking is available just be be aware of how long you can stay as parking enforcement officers have been seen.

A really nice community run hall. Beautifully restored with lots of activities open to all. The Ukulele class on Tuesday afternoons benefits from very good room acoustics.

I'd just like to say what a great night we "Ramshackle" had playing at the Festival Saturday night. The facilities were ideal, and the hall was not only a wonderful space to perform in but also acoustically excellent. I hope the audience enjoyed our performance as much as we enjoyed giving it. The New Oriel Hall is a great community venue - I have attended various fairs, fetes, sales and school plays here. It seems to be a highly adaptable space with a good sized main hall and a kitchen and cafe area and all sorts of side spaces and rooms.
The sale yesterday was disappointing from a sellers point of view - purely due to the lack of attendees - I'm not sure if any of the crafters made any money and with an accidental breakage I ran a big loss. Still I will happily try again at a craft event at the New Oriel Hall.
