Lauren is an absolutely fantastic designer. I have used her for two large projects. The first was to spruce up our living room. I had the bones of my decor (furniture, paint) but did not know how to put on the makeup (decorative items, curtains). Lauren brought me several choices of items to add the finishing touches, then placed everything to maximum effect. The items were mostly inexpensive, and she reused my existing items as well. One perfect example was taking a shelving unit I had in a corner and turning it so you could actually see the items on it better. Simple, but highly effective!

The next big project was updating two full bathrooms, the kids and the master. For the kids Lauren offered practical advice to reuse current pieces and choose moderate priced tile and finishing touches such as a schulter edge which I had never heard of.

When we got to the master bathroom, and the budget was a little larger, Lauren helped us choose the exquisite porcelain tile and accent tile that gave us the spa like style I wanted. I could not be happier with the space we created, the serenity and comfort of the room is just perfect. Lauren was also invaluable in working with our contractor to ensure all the details were covered. She had a documented plan and came to the job site multiple times to answer questions and make sure all was as we wanted it. Started with a living room upgrade and pushed down to the "man cave" which needed some serious attention. The alertness to detail and focus on personal touches was very refreshing - hard to find that these days.

I had Next Day Blinds install the counrty style shutters on my kitchen windows. The rep was on time and very informative. I decided to go with the 3inch wood shutters . The shutters were custom made and installed within two weeks after the visit with the rep. The installation was fast and clean. The installers were not longer than 30 minutes. My business partner and I hired Lauren to help us design our new salon. We had a beautiful boutique style salon and were excited about doubling our sq ft. in our new space. We wanted a designer who could marry together the elements of our beloved original salon and the new ideas that we both had. Maximizing space, functionality, comfort and keeping us modern were also priorities.
Lauren delivered on all our demands. She created a beautiful space that is a full service salon functionally while being a beautiful plush relaxing place our clientele loves to spend time in. No detail was missed and some of the custom touches like our wall papered tray ceilings are one of a kind.
We found Lauren to be energetic, creative and skilled at finding solutions when my business partner and I didn't like the same things. She came in on budget and encouraged us to spend less where we could so we could splurge on signature pieces that really made an impact.

Wow!! Our Company worked with Lauren. She did a wonderful job! She took my more modern/contempory side with my business partners more conservative side and made a relaxed, cozy and beautiful space for hundreds of our guest to visit. We recieve compliments daily. We were at a point in our life where we wanted our house to be more reflective of what we like and not just random items thrown together. We asked Lauren to evaluate our space and prioritize what we needed to attack first. For years I had picked up things here and there to make our room pretty and somewhere I felt proud of living. We first discussed budget and Lauren told us what she thought would make the largest impact in the room. We chose to spend a large amount of our budget on blinds and it instantly made a huge difference. We then reprioritized and decided what to go after next. Between buying furniture, placement of furniture, rugs and those little things that make it pretty Lauren is phenomenal and her attention to detail is spot on. Our first experience with Lauren was when we put our home on the market last spring. She helped our friend and realtor design upgrades and stage our home for sale. She did an amazing job updating our 10-year old home to look modern, inviting and comfortable. Among other things, she designed new paint colors for the entire home, remodeled our master bath, and added design elements throughout the home in order to stage it. The proof of her success is that the home sold after being on the market for only seven days.

Our next experience with Lauren was designing our new condo. She helped us choose paint, flooring, window treatments, and many other design elements. She also helped us design and plan an entire kitchen remodel and the early stages of two bathroom remodels. We couldn't be happier with how our condo has turned out thanks to her help.

Lauren has a tremendous design sense, and she does an amazing job balancing her ideas with input from the homeowner (something I'm certain we gave her too much of!). She does this with a true sense of budget, and is mindful that there are often issues of budget or function that require her consideration when creating the design. She is a true professional, while keeping her interactions at a very friendly and conversational level. She is excellent at working with the contractors that carry out her design vision, and acts as an advocate for her customers at every turn.

We bought window coverings for our entire home 2 years ago from Next Day Blinds. A few months ago we replaced all the windows in our home. Next Day Blinds came in and took down our window coverings and the Shop at home representative came in and measured our windows and we were able to keep out existing window coverings. The installer came right after that and reinstalled our window coverings no questions asked. They were really accommodating, professional and they really stand behind their products and their in home service. I recommend them to all my friends and associates.
