Lovely pub had a fantastic meal 8oz burger loaded with cheese and bacon and salad on a massive bun and side salad aswell with fries really enjoyed it would have it again we popped in on our boating holiday but I would book if we go again a few tables had reserved on them and they managed to get us in and that was about 6. 30 so give it ago you won't be disappointed. Really lovely pub set back from the river, excellent location for a quiet drink. We had just been on a long walk and The New Inn was a welcome stop at the end. The staff were very friendly and welcomed us in. There was live music when we were there which we enjoyed. If we're in the area again we'll return. More...

Loved this place! Possibly my new favourite pub! The kids polished off their scampi and nuggets while I had the superb fish and chips and my wife had the lasagne. .. apparently the best she'd had.Such a lovely atmosphere and the owners are so incredibly helpful and friendly. Somehow my wife managed to eat dessert which was also superb. All this in a lovely location where we moored up for the night. Although it's taken us 4 days to get here on the boat, we only live 35 minutes away so well definitely be coming back again soon! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!! More...

Lovely pub with amazing service and top food as well!! We (myself, husband and 2 children) moored up at Rockland for the night and went to the pub based on other reviews we had read and we weren't disappointed. Well worth a visit!
