We worked with New Glarus Bakery for our wedding in August 2018. We were very impressed with the cakes that we received for our wedding day and with the overall service provided. We called the Bakery about six months before our wedding and set up a tasting. This involved picking out 6 cake and filling combinations and picking up the prepared “tasting cake” to try and home. After trying the cake, we selected our favorite flavors and set up a meeting with the Bakery to discuss our order. We met with the owner of the Bakery, Angela, who walked us through all the options for our wedding cake. The meeting was very helpful and allowed us to see all the options in person and ask questions as needed. We ended up selected a two-tiered cake for cutting and several sheet cakes for our guests in a variety of icing flavors.We also decided to have the Bakery deliver the cakes to our reception venue, which was a huge help on our wedding day. There was a small fee for this, but totally worth it to us. On the day of the wedding the cakes were delivered as expected and looked beautiful. The cakes tasted amazing and the variety of flavors was a big hit with the guests. We would gladly recommend the New Glarus Bakery to anyone looking for an amazing cake and fantastic service experience. More...
