Our two chihuahuas have just come back from a trial night of 'doggy boarding'. Katie was so kind and caring, you could tell she really loves dogs. They are definitely treated as part of the family. My two soon settled in and looked happy and relaxed this morning when I came to collect them. I'd highly recommend Katie. We left our two pups with Katie for two weeks and they had a great time! Katie took them on lots of interesting walks and sent photo updates to us so that we were assured that all was well. The dogs were happy and healthy on our return and we could tell that they had been very well looked after - not surprising as Katie is so warm and friendly. Katie looked after our puppy during the day twice whilst we were camping in the New Forest - this enabled us to go on days out where dogs are not welcome - such as a trip to Paulton’s Theme Park. We needed a last minute dog sitter to cover a weekend away for my family. The advice on Facebook suggested we needed to get in touch with NFDS and we couldn't have made a better decision. Archie had a great time with Katie and Annette and it was a really nice touch to receive pictures of them all out and about over the weekend stay. My lab puppy Darcy loves his twice weekly days with Annette and her lovely dogs. He bounces into her garden like a kid going in a sweet shop! I am so very grateful that we found New Forest Dog Sitters, Katy and her family - we recently went away for 2 weeks and were in such a dilemma as to what to do with our Frenchie Benson.
Not sure about anyone else but kennels are NOT an option!
We took Benson over for a couple of sleep overs and the rest is history - I don’t think that he wanted to come home if I’m honest!!!
Our boy was treated like one of theirs and the photos, videos and updates were so reassuring whilst we were in holiday.
Benson now goes for sleep overs regularly, with an overnight bag packed, he’s in heaven when he’s there!
Katy and family paid attention to every little detail and catered for our boys needs so as his routine was as close to him being at home as possible.
We can’t thank you enough for the service that you provide and it’s lovely to find people as bonkers about dogs as I am!!!

My springer Frank stayed with Annette for 1 week whilst I went on holiday last week. Our experience with NFDS was great from the start. It was a first time for us using a sitting service and Katie made us feel so welcome. When I took my dog to meet Katie I knew he would be very happy staying with her and her family. He walked straight in and made himself at home with the other dogs. We went for a long walk together and Stan was reluctant to leave. He had so much fun.
He went for a trial sleep over a few weeks later and learnt how to use the cat flap. Again when we went to collect him the next day although he was pleased to see us, he was reluctant to leave. Well we have just come back from a two week holiday and picked up Zak from Katie’s and he is one happy little dog. It’s such a great feeling knowing your dog is being cared for in such a lovely home with a family that clearly loves dogs , the pics they send you while your away gives you such peace of mind knowing your Beloved pet is being loved and cared for as you would yourself, cannot recommend Katie and her family highly enough !!!!
