First time going to New Body this morning. Such a good gym. If you are looking for a hardcore gym where you can focus, this is it. Was really impressed with all the machines that they had, ones not in any old gym. Machines you probably never even seen before like the air compressor machines - Wow! The owner was extremely friendly as well, made me feel right at home. Gave me a tour and everything. l really felt like the gym was tightly knit and everyone knew each other. Very excited to go back! Good spot if you're looking for a cheap gym with all the amenities. Has showers, a lot of machines for bodybuilding, one power rack and one Smith machine (they are more geared towards bodybuilders). This is a pretty good gym, especially for the price (I pay $20 bi-weekly, ongoing). It's a nice middle ground between the gigantic chain gyms and the smaller boutique gyms. Noteworthy pros: Fellow gym-goers are respectful and generally focus on their workouts. Usually not too crowded. Dumbbells up to 140 pounds if that's your sort of thing. Efficiently laid out. Owners are great, staff are friendly.Considerations: Only one power rack. If you care about your gym looking sleek and modern, this is probably not your gym. It's also the only gym I've been to where they don't have any tissues, so take note, my fellow allergy-ridden/cold-infested/bad-sinused people. More...
