Kay is a fantastic massage therapist who knows how to hold space for calm and relaxation, as well as working with clients to find what works and what doesn't. I highly recommend her to anyone seeking a good massage. More...

Bespoke spa experience. Kay crafts a private spa experience to your choice and taste. During my first visit to her spa I had mentioned that I hadn't been able to find anyone who does seshin style body scrubs close to my home. She did an awesome job that day and I left with a feeling of calm, focused energy. But it was second visit that I learned about Kay's dedication to her craft and clients. She went and researched the body scrub style I was interested in. Traveled to see for herself and talk with therapists who were experienced in seshin, researched the best soaps and techniques, and then integrated what she learned in my next visit delivering one of the best body scrubs and massages I have ever had. Put yourself in Kay's knowledgeable and experienced hands. You won't regret it. And it only gets better. More...

My boyfriend and I went for a couple's massage lesson. Kay was very accomodating and helped me work around my physical disabilities, teaching me amazing techniques that only use my feet, knees and arms. We switched off and she walked my partner through some more traditional methods on the table. The experience was relaxing and enlightening. Would highly recommend! More...

My girlfriend and I got a 'Massage Lessons for Two' package, where we each received instruction on how to massage each other. Kay is an extremely talented massage therapist and instructor.  She was accommodating of my girlfriend's physical limitations and guided her through techniques using her feet and forearms in order to avoid inflaming her carpal tunnel.  The experience was relaxing and enlightening. This place is a treasure... its private, classy, clean and caring. The proprietor, Kay Rynerson is highly skilled and caring. She was engaging, focused and listened attentively to my areas of need. She has a acute sensitivity for understanding pressure .. she is an expert in her field and she exudes..  health! Great place to visit for massage! More...

I took a continuing education class from Kay (Thai Stretches for Table Massage) and it was really great. As a licensed massage therapist that is an avid learner it is hard to find CE classes that you can actually implement into your work, but I took a lot of techniques from Kay's class and applied them to my practice immediately. So, Kay is a great teacher...but how would she be as a massage therapist? Especially as a snobby massage therapists's massage therapist....Outstanding!!Her spa is beautiful and very elegantly appointed. Lot's of parking, great sound system (she let me pick my own artist channel). She had so many styles and packages to choose from, I just told her to surprise me..and she did.She gave me a very thorough and authentic Thai Massage which I thoroughly enjoyed. She showed me some Thai Stretches that I had never seen before, and I teach Thai Massage Workshops, so that is a pretty cool thing. But before the Thai Massage she treated me to some outstanding Rossiter work. If you have not had a Rossiter session and you like really, really deep work then you need to try it. Also, the Rossiter work would be great for professional or collegiate athletes trying to keep their bodies up with their game. All in all, a wonderful 5 Star Experience and an enthusiastic recommendation! More...

I received a gift certificate from my folks. Kay let me pick how I wanted to use my 2 hours right down to the music. I chose some sauna time and then a long table massage.  Everything was top notch and I left feeling relaxed and rejuvenated. More...

I recently treated myself with "Nuts Over You", an awesome 2.5 hours of bliss. The facial was chocolate and the massage was the best I have had in years. Kay is able to work magic. I left feeling extremely relaxed with a slight craving for some dark chocolate. And I slept great that night. Well worth the money, a happy new customer. More...

Crow's Wing Spa is the best Thai massage I have ever had.  The spa is immaculately clean and professional looking.  Street parking is convenient to the spa.  Kay is attentive and courteous, and responsive to your needs.  I have a previous neck injury, and Kay is very careful to work with me during my sessions to insure that my neck feels adequately supported the entire time.  I highly recommend Crow's Wing Spa for Thai massage. The Crow's Wing is great. It's in a residential neighborhood in Fremont, on the way to Ballard. Plenty of street parking. The owner is Kay and she completely remodeled a house into her perfect, cozy spa with all the details . The place is immaculate and there are never more than 2 clients at a time. I had never tried an infrared sauna before and I'm a fan. I can't handle more than 1/2 an hour but I feel great afterwards. During the winter months, it's always a toasty warm (a pet peeve of mine...you should never be cold on a massage table!). She and her colleague Jessica offer massage, body scrubs and Thai massage which is yoga for lazy people. All of the above are great and the rates are reasonable for the services provided and the ambience/cleanliness of the place. Highly recommended! More...
