I will never use anyone else now. Response to booking a service call was unbelievably quick. Information was requested so that the electrician would be prepared when he got to my home. My appointment was confirmed twice by email. Electrician arrived right on time. He kept me informed as he worked. Very knowledgeable and found the problems right away. I was referred to Nelcan by a friend of mine who had used them in the past. He said that he found them reliable and honest. So I called to book the appointment. The gentlemen that I talked to was polite and friendly. Nelcan was able to send one of their electricians over to my place the next day to fix my light switch that needed help. The name of the electrician was Dave. He showed up on time, was very knowledgeable and polite. We had a difficult project and I figured it would break the bank. We have a house with three suites in it - the top suite has it's own electricity meter but the bottom two shared a meter. I needed them divided so each suite had their own meter. This meant identifying every plug on every breaker for the three suites. Nelcan Electric was fantastic - efficient, conscientious with the tenants, and they guided me through the process of applying for permits from the city and dealing with BC Hydro. I called Nelcan to address an odd power surge that happened twice when using certain outlets in our spare room. Nelcan sent us their Journeyman Dave to investigate the problem.
