Gilberto A Neira Jr, earned his Master Degree in Professional Accountancy, from Texas A&M International University.
In 2012, he was hired by the Internal Revenue Service in New Orleans, LA. In the IRS, He worked as an Internal Revenue Agent, up to September of 2018, when he made the decision to leave the IRS and start Neira Tax & Consulting in Laredo, Texas.

Seeing what bad tax return prepares did to their clients. Filed incorrect tax returns, missed tax payments, taxpayers getting penalized for not paying on time.
