This place is beautiful and the staff was extremely friendly. It’s got everything you would expect from an animal hospital. It has a completely comprehensive variety of services. My only complaint is how expensive they were. Took my dog in for a consultation for dental work—was quoted between $1700-$2200. Went to West Lancaster Animal Hospital and $1700 was the high end of their quote. Ended up paying only $1100. Beautiful place Neffsville is but Shop around! More...

I recently took both of my dogs to Neffsville Veterinary Clinic, and I cannot praise the doctors, nurses, and staff enough! Zeppelin (my 1 year old terrier mix) swallowed some hard plastic, and was not doing well. I called in a frenzy and even though Zeppelin was not a current patient, they agreed to see him immediately. They took great care of him, and took the time to call me with updates. He had to stay overnight, and I was able to come in to visit him - all staff were smiling, gave me updates on my boy, and made me feel welcome to stay as long as I needed. The doctor did exactly what she said they would do, called me when she said they would, and talked to me about all options before proceeding. I will not take my dogs anywhere else from here on out! The staff here are so kind and professional! They were very gentle and sweet to my puppy, who was anxious about shots. They took care to give her a special treat that she liked to keep her distracted, and she didn't even notice or cry when they gave her the shots. I ended up coming to Neffsville after one of my pups injured his leg and our normal vet was on vacation. The staff here from the receptionist, to the vet techs as well as the Dr. Sloyer & Dr. Nyland were all very responsive to the needs of my pup and took the time to answer all questions and concerns. I have found their scheduling to be incredibly convenient with weeknight and weekend appointments readily available in a reasonable time frame. When our dog tore his ACL, we were afraid of a costly surgery and finding the best fit for our dog and budget. I called vet surgeons all over the mid Atlantic region, and was willing to travel. After a very costly consultation with a more local surgeon, I decided to do more research. I came across Dr. Sloyer from NVC. I gave the vet a call much like the many other places I've called, but he was the only surgeon who actually called me and spent time on the phone answering all of my questions. NVC was about an hour from our home, and the couple of trips to Neffsville was well worth it. They have an extremely thorough nursing staff, and I can't say enough positive things about Dr. Sloyer and how he has handled our dog's (Utley) surgery, the follow up appointments, and even after a minor complication, was extremely thorough and prompt with our dog. Dr. Sloyer and staff have been extremely accommodating to us since we have had to travel for the appointments, and did it all within a very reasonable budget for such a surgery. I cant say enough positive about NVC and would recommend to anyone! I only wish we lived closer so they could serve our dog on a more regular basis. Thank you! More...

We have been brining our pets here for about 4 years now. Almost everything has been clean and most of the time the staff have been helpful and friendly. We have on several occasions gotten the wrong information for pricing and services including picking up a medication with a different (not our) pet name and someone else's personal information on it. Our experience with Neffsville Vet has been nothing short of outstanding. Our dog Reese is a bit of a tough cookie when it comes to cooperating at the vet and would really throw a dog fit each time he went in for even something as simple as a nail trim. The staff is always so welcoming to him and always positive. Stephanie has spent countless hours working with Reese through Happy Visits so that we don't have to medicate Reese to get his nails trimmed or other procedures done (this is still a work in progress, but there has been progress!).
