This restaurant is fantastic! It is one of the best places to eat in Tallahassee if you have to eat gluten free. I have Celiac Disease and they are extremely accomodating. Most of the menu can be made gluten free. I've always had positive interactions with the staff and the chef has come out each time to personally make sure everything turned out well. Their Jerk Fettuccine Alfredo dish is seriously the best. They also have a unique, fun dining atmosphere and clean environment. I can't recommend Nefetari's enough! More...

You are missing out if you haven't eaten here. The atmosphere and decor are surprising for the college town area. The choices in cuisine are also impressive from Ethiopian to Greek to Moroccan with may types dishes like curry, pad thai, jerk and more. There were 5 of us for dinner. Everyone was thrilled with their choices. The cauliflower fire sticks & vegie mac n'cheese was excellent. The Greek salad was not only fabulous but also beautiful! The chef's choice took awhile to be prepared but it was way beyond excellent. He even came to our table to check with us. Very willing to explain what was used for sauces etc. Our server was very attentive, friendly & helpful. We will definitely return. The Jerk Alfredo with tofu was absolutely delicious. My friend had the tariyaki with tofu and said it was delicious as well. My girlfriend had the vegan steak with mushroom gravy (yum!) So delicious and unique! I had thought for the longest time that they only had vegan options, but it turns out that they have amazing vegan, vegetarian, and animal-based dishes. The best crab cakes ever!! We enjoyed a variety of dishes. Chicken & Waffles, French toast and of course the Crab Cakes.
All were fresh and amazingly delicious.
We were graciously greeted when entering and our waiter was extremely accommodating.
A must try for anyone visiting the Tallahassee area!!

Honestly I never leave reviews...this is the first time I feel I need to! The Coconut Curry was amazing!!
I had dinner there two nights in a row.
..and both nights the food was worth it. My only regret was not being able to try the Wild Mushroom Ravioli!
so if you are in Tallahassee don't pass up the opportunity to eat there!!
P.S. Butter Pecan cheesecake & the salted caramel cheesecake need a standing ovation!!!

Fantastic food! Great service and interesting surroundings/decor.
I cannot emphasize how good the food was. I was a little off-put by some of the choices at first. But all four of us got something different and loved everything that was served.
I wish we had been in town longer so we could have eaten here more times!

You cannot be disappointed here. The menu, while not large, is very unique and varied. I had a lamb jerk platter and the wife had shrimp primavera with samosas as an appetizer. Collard greens and sweet potatoes round out the multicultural feel. The drink specials were very enticing but we did not partake this time around. Very tender lamb.
Excellent lamb on my first visit was a foretaste of what was to come. I have now eaten here many times.
This is the best restaurant in Tallahassee, and it isn't even a close call. I have tried most of the dishes on the menu, some suited my taste more than others but they were all well composed and executed. For example, I am not generally a fan of eggplant so I did not try the Honey Eggplant until last week - it was crazy good. I encourage you to give dishes outside your comfort zone a try, you may be pleasantly surprised.

My boyfriend took me on a surprise date here and let me tell you, I️t was amazing. Stunning decor and a very comfortable atmosphere. The service was great and the food was even better. I️ was skeptic, I’ve never been to an Egyptian restaurant but they have common foods with a great twist as well as what I️ assume are traditional Egyptian entrees.
