When I first moved out of my parent's home, I got a job with a lawn company. I didn't know I was considered an independent contractor and paying taxes was my responsibility. I didn't know that until two years ago the IRS came after me for 4 years of unpaid taxes. They were relentless and I didn't know where to go but they started trying to levy my bank account (thank God there wasn't much to levy). I finally called NC Accounting Inc. earlier this year after looking up the IRS, I saw their website. They were really helpful and told me everything I needed to do. They found me a company that would take care of my problem and streamlined the whole process. 6 months later and I am tax debt free. I was able to get into a plan that won't collect from me until I get back on my feet, and the best part is there are no collection actions against me at this time.
