I discovered my love of photography as a child while looking through my Grandparents photo album, I knew I wanted to documents moments in time for generations to cherish years later. This lead me to study photography in college, receiving my BFA. I have followed this dream and turned it in to a career that I love.

What do you love most about your job?
Being invited back to document the same families year after year, and seeing their children grow from behind my lens. Learning what makes a couple laugh while photographing their engagement or sharing stories about a child's favorite toy. I absolutely love the connections I get to make with my clients. I'm always so excited to share a clients final gallery withe them. Immediately following a shoot, I upload the images and start selecting a handful that I can share as a "sneak peak". The responses I get back from those first images sent out have been so joyful over the years. I cannot image ever doing anything else.
What inspired you to start your own business?
Remembering how much I enjoyed looking through my Grandparents photo album as a kid, I knew I wanted to be able to share that gift with others. Deciding to study photography in college provided me with the tools to finally live that dream. After graduation I worked along side several fashion photographers, commercial photographs and food photographers and quickly realized that I needed go back to what originally brought me to photography...... family.

I love taking photos! I strive to capture authentic moments, that will become memories, that you will cherish for years to come. I don't just go through the motions during your photoshoot, I look for small details that might otherwise go unnoticed, and make sure to capture those details so that you can later look back at your images and get the full feeling of the day.
What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
I have chosen to vaccinate both myself as well as the members of my family. I wear a mask when requested by my clients and always recommend that clients hire my second shooter for wedding events so there is a back up in place incase of illness. I sanitize both before and after each shoot.
