I had the pleasure of working with Sandra Keys and her team! They did an awesome job with helping my family and me. We were with a different loan company. Started in June and by September the loan processor went on vacation and was let go !!! I was never able to get a hold of any there it would take days/ weeks before anyone would reply to my phone calls and or email. With LoanDepot I did not have any issues. I had the best Refi experience with Colin Kim with Loan Depot. He was very efficient, professional and so personable; couldn't ask more. I started my refinance on 9/17. I was quickly given their website. I dealt with Patrick loan officer. He was alway polite and returned all calls. I was pre approved quickly. I then spoke to underwriter and asked for all paperwork they would need. I uploaded all paperwork they wanted to their portal. I did pay 500 for an appraisal. After that things finally started to happen. My loan was funded on October 31st and they sent check to my old mortgage company. They did give me interest rate they promised. I am also being refunded my appraisal fee. All in all we were satisfied and would refinance with loan depot again. After your first refinance they will waive fees for the next one. People should keep in mind you must have a great credit score to use this company. Good luck to all through the process. This being my first mortgage, I was nervous. Dean Sowers put my mind at ease right away, being so helpful and knowledgeable, responding to my questions right away. Very forthright and honest, got me such a good rate that I almost didn't believe it. You were upfront and honest and helped me to refinance. My income to debt was not the numbers required by others; however, my past history proved how reliable I am no matter what my debt to income is. Your representative Andrew Aakbar was the light at the end of a dark tunnel at the time for me. He knew and he stayed with me throughout the process and I have referred him to several people because he knows what he is doing and stays with you throughout and onward too. Thank you Andrew, you knew about me long before we started this process even though we have never met. The financial side of your process needs a lot of work. The numbers never seemed to jive and always were changing. I would suggest that this side stop and recount before sending out paperwork because it got really confusing, never knew what I financed or what I would owe every month, because I was receiving all kinds of paperwork even after the notary came and I thought all was processed from her paperwork, well, guess what it changed again. I think if you stop being so anxious to complete paperwork that is not finished is not a good representation of your company. Your representative Andrew worked everything before contacting me and really made me at ease; however, all the unnecessary distractions with paperwork after my closing gave a bad light on your company. I had started the process of refinancing my mortgage with Quicken Loans when I received a call from Kathy Nguyen at LoanDepot asking if she could give me a competitive quote for the same loan. I agreed, and her quote came in with $8,000 less closing costs. On top of saving me money in closing costs, Kathy also made sure to time the closing date so that I could skip two months of mortgage payments. When I told Quicken that I was switching my refinance to Loan Depot, they assured me that no one can beat their offer and wanted to make a new offer. When Quicken gave me the second Loan Estimate, it was still $1,000 higher than LoanDepot. Which made me wonder how were they able to trim $7,000 off my loan.
